Very Bright - Easy to Swap In
I had two fluorescent fixtures winking out and decided to swap in LEDs. These units are much brighter than the fluorescent tubes they replaced, and with half the energy consumption. I went with "Daylight" which is a very stark white color. This is what I wanted for the laundry room and garage, but you may consider softer colors for other living environments.Wiring :: bottom line - each bulb needs 120V across it, so figure out what you have have and wire accordingly. The instructions did not cover my particular setup. Both of my fixtures had 2 yellow wires on the "far end" daisy chained to both receptacles, and 2 red and 2 blue wires on the primary end, each to a single receptacle. I wired the neutral (white) to the yellow wires (all 3 wires into a wire nut), and the switched hot (black) to both blue and red wires (all 5 wires into a wire nut). May seem weird but electrically, that is how it needed to be. I removed the ballasts and sent them to copper recycling.

Well Made and Delivers
I bought these to replace some 24" fluorescent tubes in a ballast system. So happy I finally switched over to LED. I did a complete rewiring of the setup because the old wires were really old and I wanted to switch to new wires for this new setup. Super easy to do with double ended LED tubes and non-shunted tombstones.I really like the even lighting on these tubes and the construction is well made. Having the entire backside of the tube made of aluminum doubles as heatsink is a great design. The tubes are room temperature at best after running for extended periods of time. Definitely will buy again.

working great, 3 years later
very satisified that I replaced our under-counter kitchen flourescents with these. Instantly on, very good brightness level and color, not too difficult to install, And we run these approx 16 hours/day for 3 years now. If one ever does go bad, I hope to re-order this exact item.

I will add to this once I have my product. For me the rewiring is simple, but I do understand why other people feel different.
Well, this is anticipation, but I'm pretty sure that I know what will arrive (hopefully) tomorrow. Fulight customer service was good when shortly after I made the order, I discovered that I need two more. I'm technically very familiar with high efficiency LEDs from my very early work on them 50 years ago when the only visible color we could make was red. I've watched progress since and it took very smart and dedicated scientists a long time to get to where we are today. These LEDs really make blue light and then down convert it with phosphors somewhat like the enamel of your teeth efficiency into white. Each diode works a low direct current voltage and directly converts most of the electrons going through it into light. These tubes have a power supply like the black (or white for Apple) thingies you plug into the wall, except it is in the tube. It turns standard house current into the low voltage needed and unfortunately is not dimmable by most dimmers. The pin spacing on the ends is the same for T8 and T12 bulbs. Since you are wiring out the energy sapping ballast of the fluorescent, you use these in T-12 fixtures of the same length as well. I will verify that as soon as mine show up.Will they be cheaper and more varied next year. Yes, but you can start cutting your electric bill now. They are only a little more than the current price of fluorescents today.

Brighter than my old LED tube
of the same wattage. Wider angle too. Not cheap for a Chinese LED but we'll see if it lasts 5 years as advertised.

Great LED bulbs at first but both failed shortly after the 3-year warranty.
Updated Oct 3,2019 below.Original review in Feb 2016: Awesome. Retroed my old CFL unit with these and could not be happier. Disconnect the balance, straight wire as per the included instructions and it works perfectly. If these ever die, I'll be back to but more if the price is right.Updated Oct 3, 2019: These two lights have both failed now. The first one I believe failed a few months back but really didn't notice it until the second light failed recently. They lasted past the 3-year warranty, but they are far from the lifespan promised up to 50,000 hours. I usually use at most 8 hours a day in the evening so as you can see they last nowhere near the length of time promised. It is possible I received faulty bulbs or maybe they just don't last as long as they say. Regardless I have changed my review from a five-star to a three-star.

Great little upgrade to existing fixtures.
I was a bit hesitant about the light. Wasn't sure if it would be bright enough or durable. Will take a while to find out on durable but it puts out a decent amount of light. I was hoping for more but it puts out about what is claimed. The installation was extra easy. Was literally done in less than 5 minutes. Was happy to see that you just had to wire one power lead to each end of the light and that it didn't matter which end they were hooked to. I simply snipped the wires connecting to the ballast then removed the screw holding it in. Stripped the snipped wires and reused the wire nut that was already there. My light housing had 2 wires on one side and 3 on the other. I wired all of them on each side to one of the leads and screwed on the wire nut. Popped the cover back on and inserted the light bulb replacement. I did have to pull the ends out just a little for the bulb to go in on both sides. I installed two of these already and had to bend the ends a little on both. My have just been my light fixtures. Your mileage may vary... Overall, great little light for the price. Only thing that could be better would be higher lumen output but it would use as much power as a fluorescent then.
