Not really. You’d have to press down pretty hard so you could tear the page. Otherwise, it wouldn’t really show up. I wouldn’t recommend them for that use but if you really need the color then they could work. Also—erasing these aren’t clean unless you press lightly.

Q: How well do these erase off of walls if a child were to draw on them?

That is a great question. Although Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils are designed to erase from paper, they are not a washable product that can be completely erased from other surfaces. If your artist likes to draw outside the lines, we would suggest using Crayola Ultra-Clean Washable Crayons. These crayons are formulated to clean from most launderable clothing, skin, and even painted walls. Hope this helps!
