At the hospital, they had these to color with. You see coloring, relaxes you. These are the size of a colored pencil, but you turn the crayon out. I thought these were a terrific idea. My daughter likes using colored pencils, but she always has to sharpen them. With these you just twist and a little bit more crayon comes out. I purchased a set for myself and for her. These are just an amazing idea. And with 50 colors, how can you go wrong?

I use these Crayola Twistables for my coloring books and I love them. The colors are vibrant and go on really smooth. No sharpening is a huge plus—just twist and keep going. There’s a great variety in the 50-pack, and they don’t break easily like regular colored pencils. Super convenient and fun to use!

I use these for portable coloring - in waiting rooms, traveling, or vacations. Like all Crayola pencils, they are great to use. The colors are good, the leads color smoothly, and they last a long time. I love not having to sharpen on the go. I also noticed that toting them around does not cause the breakage I got with regular pencils. The leads seems to be well-protected by the plastic barrels. I do wish they were refillable because I hate the waste. These would get five stars if the names were written on the barrels.

My only complaint is the color isn't on the pencil itself, but all in all I love them, have been traveling with them every since I got them. The quality is impressive, they weren't expensive,

I own the set of 30 Twistables and they color smoothly and most were easy to blend. So I bought the 50 set and they are great and with 20 more colors to choose from they are even better. The one problem I have with both sets is some of them retract when I try to color and need to keep twisting them out. Putting tape around the top helps a lot.
