I got this for my kitchen chairs which are solid wood. This is an upgrade in tushy comfort from solid wood. Your sit bones are definitely cushioned and don’t hit the solid surface underneath it. It’s not like a cushion that you sink into, so if you’re use to pad or foam this will not work for you. It’s also going to raise you up about an inch so if you’re short that’s a bonus perk. It’s a heavy seat and is nonskid which are good. This 10 pound weight does not sink into it at all so someone who is very light weight might not get any cushion out of it. When I first sat on it I didn’t think I liked it, but then when I went back to sitting on the solid wood I realized how much better it was than the wood and I think it’ll last a very long time.

I have another similar Purple brand cushion in my car, which is excellent and gives me a lift for better visibility and so comfortable. This one is equally comfortable for my home office, and at a good price.

Sitting at a desk all day makes my hips hurt. This is one of many cushions I have bought over the years...all the rest were great for the first month, then the memory foam went caput. This thing never changes, every day is just like the day before, it's consistent, not to thick, not to thin and my hips don't hurt after a long day. Love that the cover is removable for washing. Highly recommend!

I bought this cushion in anticipation of spending another four hours sitting in our car to get my wife's second COVID-19 shot. After the first shot, I was in agony. I won't say this cushion did away with all my pain - I have a bad back - but the wait was much, much easier this time. I will continue to use it in my car for those long waits in traffic. I definitely would recommend this cushion to others.

Was having severe sciatic nerve paine from sitting at my home office. This pad has really done the trick.Cushy but not to soft. Offers good stability and support without being bulky or visually obtrusive. Great value for the money. Would highly recommend for anyone with sitting induced pain.

Overall, great product and huge upgrade from the cheap foam cushions that deflate as soon as you sit down.Took a chance on these for football games and bleachers, and was not disappointed. The cushions are definitely not as sturdy as the Purple brand version, but for less than half the price, they're fantastic. I personally love the feel, but depending on your back, they might not be for everyone.The "egg-crate" style gel stay really breathable which is great for keeping you cool for long games. They've held up well for many games so far and don't deflate like the cheap foam ones we all have.I really love that the cover is removable. Bleachers are often wet or dirty, so it's nice to be able to wash them. And the rubbery gel cushion itself doesn't get bothered by water. If you were good with a sewing machine, you could easily customize these with your team logos.

This cushion provides a great amount of support without being to firm or soft. I love the simplicity of it, I have used it both in my car and on hard chairs. When I'm using it, I forget that it's there, which is really perfect. The cover is removable and washable, so that is a plus in my cat household. I wish the material covering it was a little heavier, but all in all, this is a worthwhile purchase if you need a little extra cushion on your seat.

My Dad is wheelchair bound and this cushion felt good for an hour at most. After that, it feels hard rather than comfortable. It didn't alleviate pressure sores, either. We've tried gel, foam, and egg crate cushions but they just didn't work for us. What we eventually found was the "Purple" royal cushion." This gel cushion may be purple in color, but it's not the "Purple" royal cushion. The real "Purple" product are not cheap, but combined with an air mattress at night, the Purple royal cushion has eliminated pressure sores and Dad is more comfortable during the day.
