Celtic Journal (Diary, Notebook)

This is a beautiful journal, though it is more of a note book for how small it is. I didn't pay attention to the dimension before buying it with the intention of using it as a journal, but it is a bit too small to use for that purpose. Though because of how beautiful it is I likely would have bought it anyways. Please make a larger one so it can be used as a journal and I will buy 10 of them.

I ordered one of these at First as I was considering giving them as gifts with a group that I have traveling to Ireland. When I saw the first one, I immediately ordered five more for my group and I think that they will be very happy with . Number one , how beautiful the journal is . The detail on the cover and the quality. Number two the fact that the size is a good size to take whether it’s a purse, a backpack, a tote or to carry with you it gives you more freedom to take notes and record your experiences as you travel - I found the journal is great. not just for recording your experience, but for writing down information about people that you might meet or quick facts about things that you want to check when you get back , there’s a place to put little items in the back cover as well . Overall, a great buy. I will be ordering more for future trips.

After purchasing my first one of these, I have since bought another each time I fill one. It's small enough to fit in a large pocket (most of my sport coats I wear as a professor or pastor, or my overcoats). It's distinctive and gets many compliments, and it even has a pocket for receipts or other things I know I'll still have when I have this journal with me. I've used it for nearly 10 weddings, including a Game of Thrones-themed, a World of Warcraft-themed, and an Alice-in-Wonderland-themed wedding :) I especially love the feel of the paper. I guess the most important: This journal's look and feel, especially the paper quality, makes me happy when I write in it - making me more likely to seek it out to actually write in it. I also have been happy with all the other Peter Pauper journals I've purchased for family, friends, and students - never disappointed w. the quality craftsmanship and value for the price.

This was definitely a good buy for the price. The design is simply lovely, which I'm sure you can tell by the display photograph, but the dark green and the black knot-work is just as lovely in person. At 5" x 7", this journal is the perfect size to be kept in a purse and it's light enough to carry around pretty much wherever you go - great for the person who likes to take notes, journal, or write stories on the go and doesn't like to be caught without a notepad. The paper is a lovely light cream color, and the lines are a very pale grey - not distracting or demanding in the least (there are 22 lines per page, for those who care about such things); the binding - at least on mine - has held up almost ridiculously well over time and lots of abuse; the little folder on the inside of the back folder is a convenient place to keep index cards, business cards, and all manner of other paper scraps that you need with you; the hard cover is great for traveling about as it won't get bent or torn, as has happened to so many of my paperback journals. The one thing worth noting on a negative side is that when my journal arrived in the mail, the two right corners were bent, and a bit scratched up. I'm not sure if that was as a result of shipping and handling, or if that's just the state that the journal was in. I don't tend to mind that sort of thing much as every journal I own has a tendency to look pretty beat up and worn within a few weeks anyway as a result of me throwing it around and in and out of different bags and purses, but it might be worth thinking about if you are the kind of person who likes things to be new and shiny when you first get them in the mail.

I have a couple bookmarks and several notebooks by peter pauper press and when I say I adore them 😍🤩the designs are amazing and the quality is top notch but even the little things .. for example you know how usually you get an awesome new notebook as a writer and the sticker leaves sticky residue or paper scraps after scraping it off violently lolol not with anything by this brand. Comes off with ease and leaves no marks of paper or sticky waxy residue on your beautiful new book. Loving it as usual. Fellow writers will appreciate this. And even if you're not an avid writer and or journal keeper but you just want a notebook to doodle in or keep notes, I know it's slightly pricey but it's worth it. If it were crazy over the top it wouldn't be. By comparison I'd say it's slightly pricey but for the quality of their products it's reasonable and worth it

This journal or BOS, poetry, story notes, or whatever you choose to use it for, notes, art as well, anything, its beautiful, just the right size too, because you can take it along in a large tote, and use it anywhere to jot down whatever it is you are working on. Its made very well, the innner papers are also quality. I just love it, the color is true to what you see online. I must stress it's size is not large ot really for me too small, its just right. I did not want some huge heavy tome for the very reason, it fits inside a tote and can be taken anywhere. The beach, a gathering, anything. Its size is exactly five inches by 7 inches and for me that is perfect. I was worried at first it seemd a bit diminuitive but now having it, it works out just fine. Also, in addition, opening that back cover, its a hard cover, is a little green slot, you can slip folded notes into, I used it right away. So that little additon makes it also useful even more. The elastic closure piece that will keep it shut inside your bag tote or what4ever, is also well made, so far has worked just perfectly, and stays in place. I recommend.

La libreta es muy bonita, desde que la vi me encantó, el diseño es lindo, aunque es pequeña, es de gran calidad, vale lo que cuesta, tiene hojas rayadas y trae un sobre al final para guardar cosas. Ya compré otra más con otro diseño ya que hay unos realmente bellos. Tardó en llegar yo preferiría que lo enviaran por medio de DHL porque así sería más rápido.
