For many years, I've wanted a felt-tip pen that felt smooth and easy to use with a light touch. This is great! And by varying the pressure on the pen, I get an attractive variation in the line width, making my quick writing look calligraphic. My handwriting could use improvement, but I think these pens take it up a lvl - (for the good) lol!I don’t know what it is with these pens. My office had a box of these pens (only in black) and one by one … they all slowly disappeared. (I must confess, that I lost one on the airplane). But I love them so much that I came to Amazon to look for more! I am happy that I found them in black and in COLORS (the colors are rich feeling). At first, I thought I bought wrong, but now after a few uses, the brush tip is softening and my handwriting is improving!These are expensive, but I still love them!

This is hands down my favorite brush calligraphy pen. It has a good amount of give to it without being too soft. They can also take a beating and have stood up to my nephews getting in to them and using them. They're also affordable. I put this in my calligraphy class kits and it's also my every day go to calligraphy pen!This same pen is also available in a lovely set of vibrant and pastel colors.I've included a few pics of things I've written with these pens over the years!

I'm a big felt tip pen user in my general life - I prefer them to ballpoint or rollerball pens, so I generally will use felt tip at work and at home and occasionally use fountain pens. It can be difficult to find a very fine point felt pen that doesn't have an overly-firm or rigid tip, as is the case with the very fine Papermate pens.The conical shape of this pens tip allows you to very easily write in fine point without having to fight the pen to write. This pen also allows you to write in bold as well without much effort. With repeated pressure the tip does fatigue, but it holds up very well. Easily a top 3 felt tip pen for me.

These pens were a request from my sister who is constantly in search of good quality pens and markers for her artwork and school work. She is absolutely obsessed with the quality of these pens. This is a must buy if you are in search of quality writing/drawing utensils.

I am delighted with the value of these brush pens. I'm on my 2nd box already this month. I taught a group of girls techniques for lettering and they each got to keep their pen. And they make great gifts for anyone you want to share lettering with.The size of the brush pen is perfect for most of my uses. It's easier for me to make the fine lines on the upstrokes then the poster size brushes. And it's better when I want to do a longer quote.
