Aesthetically and functionality wise this has become my favorite hair straightener. Initially I was drawn to the look but it works just as well as my old go-to straightener. It Heats up very quickly and has a light up screen to display the temperature setting. With the max temp being 450 degrees it definitely has the capability to straighten with ease. I am mostly Puerto Rican and Irish, with some Native American mixed in and my hair is on the wavier side and gets tangled extremely easily so straightening really helps with that and can safely say this did a good job. Thus far I would recommend it! Haven’t run into any issues with mine but if any do arise I’ll return to update my review.

What is important but not in the description is this straightener is dual voltage. This means I can take it with me to other countries when I travel. The iron is light weight, the cord is very long, and the digital reading makes it easy to set the correct temp that works for you. The iron will shut off after one hour of non use. The iron heats up really fast so no need to turn on and wait. The controls are on the inside of the straightener. The iron smooths out the ends of my fine hair.

I love the marble design on this flat iron. It is very aesthetically pleasing. I also love how thin the iron is. It was not hard for me to figure out how to use it, I did not have to refer back to the instructions on how to work it. This flat iron auto shuts off after minutes of it not being used which I find very convenient for myself, it also heats up quickly up to 450° which can be adjusted, making it perfect for every hair type. I didn’t have to worry about my hair snagging or pulling between the flat iron plates. My hair came out very soft and silky. I have no complaints. I love it!

This is a pretty standard flat iron. I was expecting something better , or had higher hopes but I would just say spend the extra money and get a different brand. This flat iron didn’t get as hot as I wanted and it didn’t do a great job at straightening my hair , I have pretty curly thick hair and this didn’t stand up well at all.maybe if you have thin or shorter hair this would be a good option for you.

The media could not be loaded. I plugged the flat iron up for 3 mins and they turned off and never came back on. I unplugged them and plugged them in a different socket and they still didn't work.

So, even though this is a nice straightener and it does straighten your hair well under the right conditions/circumstances… the “right conditions” part shouldn’t be necessary! Lol.Essentially, you can’t use this thing unless your hair is freshly washed and clean and has absolutely no oil or product in it which is absolutely ridiculous. I have hair down to my waist, and to keep it healthy I only wash it once or twice a week. When I attempted to use this straightener on my not freshly clean hair, it literally wouldn’t work. Since my hair was just a little oily, the straightener wouldn’t slide down my hair like it’s supposed to, it just pulls and yanks at it painfully and sticks to the plates.This is also a problem, considering that after every time I do wash my hair, I use a light hair oil to condition my mids and ends, which is also a heat protectant, and the straightener hates the hair oil as well, and has a hard time functioning properly with it.This is a really irritating, stupid, and maddening problem to have especially with such an expensive and supposedly good device. It makes no sense to me and I’ve never had this problem with my other straightener.I should also point out that the way this is designed, the end of the straightener pinches together, and I’ve pinched my hand painfully a few times, which wasn’t fun. That was actually the very first thing that happened when I pulled it out of the packaging, lol.And for such a nice straightener, it comes with kind of a cheap cord attached to it instead of one of those nice rounder rubber type cords, if that makes sense. Just makes it easier to handle.The pros are that it does straighten fine if you’re doing it under its finicky conditions. It looks really lovely with the marble and the digital screen and adjustments are nice. I particularly like how they are on the inside so that you don’t accidentally change your settings while you’re using it.So, there you have it! Loved, Loved, Love it! I like that the of/on button and temp indicator are on the inside of the insider. It slides with ease and doesn't pull my hair. It leaves your hair feeling silky and shiny.I also used it on my daugther's long hair and it worked perfectly. Left her hair super straight without the need of repeatedly going over sections.

I love this! One of the best straighteners I've ever had! I love that you can have complete control over the temperature of the plates, not just a high and low setting so you can reduce the amount of heat damage that you subject your hair to. It's super cute too and I love the box that it comes in, perfect for displaying it if you want to! Haven't run into any problems with this straightener yet!
