These file storage boxes have really helped in keeping my desk file drawer neat an tidy. They are expensive for what they are, but worked out so well for me that I took the plunge and bought them anyhow.The plastic is fairly sturdy and the two locking clasps are robust.The hinge, although reasonably stout, is folding plastic ....so they may eventually break from folding back and forth. Especially if used every day.They hold about 100 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Paper thicknesses vary so it is hard to be exact.They fit nicely in my file drawer which is 12 1/2" wide with about 0.3" to 0.4" clearance.The fit for the 8 1/2 x 11 paper is rather tight with about 0.1" to spare in the 8 1/2" direction.In the 11" direction there is about 1" of clearance for the paper.NOTE:It would appear from the reviews that the 4cm thick version of this box does not fit 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Thus the one star reviews.One has to be careful when ordering A4 file storage boxes since A4 paper measures 210 × 297 millimeters or 8.27" × 11.69". I bought some collectible magazines and needed a solution to store them without damaging them. This plastic storage is sturdy, and with a transparent look I can see which magazine is safely stored in it. The size was perfect and value of what I paid appropriate. It's a good way to organize and quickly find them.

I love these for small products. They are sturdy and hold about a quarter of an inch of material protectively. They do come apart when opened sometimes, but are easily reassembled. I love mine.

I actually bought this to keep some of my children's papers in for when they get bigger. I bought a large bin for each, and one of these. I've been putting keepsakes for them in here for when they're older. The bin itself has the baby clothes they came home from the hospital in, and their favorite baby stuffed animal. This paper box has some of their first coloring pages and a few other special papers that have come home over the years. Works well, and keeps the papers safe and wrinkle-free.

Used these boxes to organize stamp sets that also had the sizzlets included. Worked out very well.

The pieces that lock it shut constantly pop off and don't want to cooperate. Keep an eye out because they are easy to lose track of when they quietly fall off. But once it's locked its locked. I just keep struggling with keeping them on while I put things in it. Good thing it's something I won't constantly open and close. I used it to store some kpop photos.

I took this to Comic Con and was able to carry some valuable comics in my backpack without any damage at all. I highly recommend this product.
