Plastic grips
The grips slide over the pencil and will stay, but then start sliding down which covers the lead. You have to keep pushing it back up toward the top of the pencil, but then it's not usable as a grip to write.

sloppy fit
These are a loose fit on standard pencils. They may fit stick pens, but are not suitable for pencils.

Doesn’t fit the pencil
I would not recommend. My nine-year-old son put one of these pencil grips on his Dixon pencil, and it would not stay in place. Major disappointment.
