Q: I got the box yesterday and it was on 000 and I didn't see a lever anywhere near the combination to flip. Where is it?

Open the lid. Remove the black tray. Look at bottom latch. See lever sticking out. Move lever "left: and "up" (may be stiiff and hard to move). Set the 3 number combination to what ever 3 numbers you desire and move lever back to the original position. Close box and move off the selected 3 numbers. Box is now locked. to open, set combination back to the 3 numbers you selected.

Set Lock to 000 Push "change lever" on back of lock to (left and up) Set code that you want and move "change lever" back to original position. WRITE THE 3 DIGIT COD SOMEWHERE SO YOU WON'T FORGET. If that doesn't work check out Returns & Replacement on Amazon.

I work for a non-profit and we were donated a locked cash box. I started with 0-0-0 and increase the number by one (0-0-1, 0-0-2, etc) until I got to the combination that opened it. Much cheaper than a locksmith and you don't have to be a genius. You just need patience.
