Keep Feet Cool. Nice Indoor Shoes. Fit Wide Feet
I have wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes that don't feel cramped in the toe area, even with wide widths. It's not because my feet are super wide, I just think quality control is poor and also we all have unique feet. My feet also get hot in a lot of shoes, which I find uncomfortable.I wear these inside with socks. I've never used barefoot shoes before, so I was skeptical. While the toebox material does touch the top of my toes, it doesn't bother me because it's flexible and breathable. Arch support is good--feels like normal shoes. They're a bit tight getting on, because the opening is restricted. I bet if I didn't wear socks, they would be perfect. I normally wear 12 Wide, and these fit with socks on. 12 1/2 might be better. If you don't want to wear socks, you should find your normal size to fit well.

Great lightweight shoe
This is not a shoe to support your arch or to support your ankles. It's a flat sole, a lightweight shoe with full mobility. It's narrow, but with my wide feet, it's not that bad. My only downside is that my pinky toe had a lot of pressure on it during the break-in phase, but since then, I haven't had a problem.

More a Minimalist Than Barefoot Shoe
I’ve had Trail Gloves in the past. Those were barefoot. This current iteration has noticeably less ground feel than prior Trains Gloves and, for me, that’s not such a bad thing. I did not care for the feel of every crack, rock or stick on the trail or road being felt through the sole of the shoe. These temper that barefoot feel just enough - I feel enough, but not too much. Not much (if any) difference in the outsole. Upper fits as I expected, somewhat snug but not bad.Sizing and fit were as expected. We’ll see how well they last. If they hold up well, I’ll be buying another pair.

Comfortable for barefoot show lovers
I have been using Marrell Trail Glove shoes for last 6 years. I wear them daily (in city, or nature while I am hiking) and these are the only shoes that I have. These are great choice for anyone looking for comfort, performance, and a minimalist feel. The fit is snug but not restrictive, with just enough room in the toe box to let your toes splay naturally. It is lightweight and breathable.Highly recommended!

not a barefoot shoe
extremely narrow fit even after ordering a half size larger than usual, too much support for my tastes and too much padding similar to a nike wedge running shoe for me. over the years my foot has gone native and these have the feel of a vise even after several runs.Merrell ditched their line of barefoot shoes it's been a struggle to capture the feel of my 15yr old pair of awesome shoes that i had to hand stitch back together and are just now wearing through sole. so i've spent over $600 trying out versions of trail glove and vapor glove, each requiring that i adjust my size to the eccentric fit of each new generation or style. some style sound like clown shoes, some look like clown shoes, and most don't close to the comfort of that original design made in China, the Vietnamese productions are just much worse in durriblity and fit.

Try if you’re interested!
I love how lightweight they are compared to my previous shoes that now seem so clunky. And low profile! I feel like I could parkour—though I won’t. Already, mind blown!I ordered my usual size but had to return and size down. I wear a woman’s 9, usually, so I first got a men’s 8. There was a good half inch or so of room. Researched and found that every *half size* is 1/8” difference. Ordered a size 7 and they’re perfect. Still about 1/4” of wiggle room for the toes. As is recommended. Feels right. The arch support works well for me. I have an average arch under my foot, I think. As far as the spectrum goes in terms of high arch or flat feet. They’re wide enough, thinking the womens shoes run more narrow. Plus, I love the lichen green color.Wish they had the heel loop to pull the shoes on more easily. The shoe tongue is attached on the inside and is a little annoying but it’s comfortable once the laces are tied.Glad to swap for these and donate my old pair.Worth the money if the shoe fits! Anticipating to wear these for years.

Not as good as the 5
Ive been wearing barfoot sneakers for 14 years because i like the way they feel. I ordered these becaause my old Merrells finally fell apart. Theyre not a good as the TG5 and here are a few reasons why. The meterial is 'crunchy' and feels cheap. The sole is a bit stiffer in the midfoot than the TG5 model, that could be the design but its definitely a noticable trait. The tongue is a single flap, so its attached to one side and it just anchored to the other. Not a big deal, just a bit annoying. The upper has decent heft to it, these arent flimsy like the vapor glove model so they will provide some support. These run small: i usually wear a size 11, the 11s i ordered were way to small and not wide enough. Returned them and bought the 11.5, its a much better fit so order a haldf size up. Overall, not a bad sneaker, but definitely not as good as the 4s or 5s. I would recommend waiting until they bottom out at 50 bucks or so; i spent 70 and i feel its a bit 9verpriced for what i consider to be a lower quality Merrell product.

Merrell trail glove 6 sole is peeling off
I bought the Merrell Trail Glove 6 on August 28, 2023. I got them for trail hiking and trail running. So far I have hiked/ran in them approximately 30 miles. Just normal trails in the woods, not gravel or rocky at all, and no pavement running because I didn’t want to wear the tread off.It is now October 16 and I noticed the shoe hanging up on the rug coming in the house. The rear section of the soles on both shoes is peeling off. As you can see in the photos, the tread is still in good shape. It is disappointing because I really like these shoes. They are comfortable to run in and offer just the amount of support I was hoping for. Good traction on wet slippery trails. If the soles weren’t coming off I would give them 5 stars.I guess if they won’t give me a new pair I will get some shoe goo and try and repair them.
