These are great. I rate them massively.
I feel I needs to squash the reviews ive been reading here. It seems a lot of the negatives have been written by clueless people. And I don't mean to sound malicious there. One complaint was that somebody was feeling pebbles and stones far too much under their sole. This is the whole purpose of barefoot trainers. If you buy bear foot trainers regardless of what brand you are always gonna feel the undulating ground. That is the whole point of buying footwear that are a barefoot design.Secondly, I heard of people talking about how the toe box was a bit too tight. I was a bit concerned after reading this because I have quite wide toe box But?If you buy the right size you will not have this problem.I bought a 12 UK. I'm 12 in normal trainers.I am a twelve in almost all hiking boots so there was no difference in sizing. In terms of quality, I can't really fault, these as barefoot trainers. I like them that much that I have actually bought a second pair. My first pair is for exercise and I bought a second pair for day to day non exercise walking around as such.If I had to say to somebody, what makes these good is that they have a vibram sole The laces are substantial and comfortable and they feel great on the foot.I know with Merrel and to be fair most barefoot trainers. Do you wear down quite quickly on the sole. But it really depends on how much you use them. And you are gonna have this problem with any barefoot trainer.

So much better than the Trail Glove 6's
Awesome trainers. my trail glove 6's were replaced by Merrell as the sole separated (it was made of 2 compounds that separated) - I see from the message boards that this was a known issue so well done to Merrell for immediately replacing. These Trail Glove 7's have no such issues - sole is great and the fit is perfect every time. Definitely worth buying.

Good but..
These are decent barefoot shoes but they are quite narrow more so than any barefoot shoe I have tried and the sole will pick up anything and everything especially if you’re walking over grass.I use these for running on tarmac or the beach. However I think I’ll put them away for emergencies and fine a wife doing shoe instead.

Happy out
perfect fit. good quality shoe. waited until the price came down before nabbing them. i can't speak for the wear and tear that others have reported, but these won't be my daily drivers anyway.

Extremely comfortable and your toes will love you
I used these shoes extensively over the last 3 months, and have been hesitating to write a review. I bought them at a massive discount and was expecting something to go terribly wrong. I hiked some very challenging mountain routes, took them on numerous leg days at the gym and drove around in them a lot.Initially, I noticed that the glue job was the worst I had seen in any of my other shoes, I could see blobs coming out from seams. But this seems to be cosmetic and not have affected the shoes. They are very breathable and have a wide toebox, very comfy. The sole is thin but doesn't hurt to walk on rocks in them. The zigzag pattern on the sole makes them rather grippy.I have since, for the first time with any of my shoes (and admittedly this might be my fault) experienced them "going off". They gained an unbearable smell, and I have just handwashed them and put them through a short and spinless washing machine cycle. They stopped for a few days, but have just began to smell again. Perhaps a soaking in a mild disinfectant would fix it, I don't know. As I've said, I've never had this happen before.Since the cycle, very fine threads from loops holding the laces in place have began coming off, but it's a minor cosmetic issue. Will try to update regarding their durability and function.

Not 100% bare foot- size 7 and 7.5. Not for me
I am normally a size 6 to 6.5. I got one size up.Not 100% bare foot- size 7 and 7.5. Not for meSize 7- tight fit. Uncomfortable to walk in. Unable to wear socks.Size 7.5- good fit. Able to wear a thin sock but not with thick socks underneath.I brought these shoes with the understanding of it being bare footed but there is a little arch support which I did not want.I have arthritis and plantar fasciitis in the left foot and only comfortable with actually barefoot shoes. Such as vibram 5 fingers or vivo bare foot trainers.I brought size 7 and 7.5. If it wasn’t for the inbuilt arch support. Other wise the trainers are great and plenty of space at the front. I would advise to order a size and half higher than your normal size.I hope that helps.

Great but slightly tight
Having a pair of the Vapor6 shoes for working out - which I love - I though I'd try these for daily wear. They are a tighter fit and so I feel a bit of relief taking them off. I though they'd stretch and they have a little but still not as comfortable as the Vapor 6.

Toe box too narrow
My son is a natural barefoot walker. Finding the right shoes for him is quite a task. So I had high hopes for barefoot shoes. These shoes have a nice look, feel good, but the toe box is far too narrow for feet that are used to barefoot walking. Back to try some other brands, and hoping one will work out. Delivery and presentation were excellent.

Perfect
Great product better than the previous gen. It looks like a normal sneaker but very light and feels like a minimalist shoe without jeopardizing the look. I have two of these the grey/ orange combo looks much better. But if you want a black shoe then this is the option for you. The yellow letter gives a nice stylish touch.

Sicurezza Merrell
Prendere delle Merrell è una sicurezza per confort, praticità, piacere alla vista e durata nel tempo.Ho acquistato altre marche che dopo 1 mese di utilizzo sono andate in rovina. Le Merrell no. Ottimo prodotto.
