Liked how easy it was to trim my paper or cardstock paper….And liked having the scorer , and how easy it was to score with…..I’ve had mine for several years works great….Would recommend

I bought the Bira Trimmer because it allows for cutting and trimming in one device. Another convenience is you can cut up to six inches before needing to extend the ruler arm. The measurements are easy to read and provide for accurate cuts. Overall, this is the best paper trimmer I’ve used.

This trimmer is clear to read and is accurate. However the cutting blades are disappointing, the cutting is poor when cutting 100gsm+ paper/card stock, leaving a fluffy edge. The scorer is great, quick and accurate scores every time.

I love the size the fact that it has a score blade and cut blade. The extending arm is firm and not flimsy as well as it is a flat platform when arm is extended. I also love that it can be hung up, so with all these things going for it itis also a space saver as you do not need a cutter and a score board. I highly recommend this board.

I am not a crafter,but have found so many uses for this instead of scissors I really like the “scorer”. Makes a nice fold line. Recommend this utter.

This is a good trimmer. I was warying of buying an off brand. My old trimmer has a wire guide for cutting and the wire is becoming warped or bent (hard to describe) but it was causing it to not cut straight enough. THIS trimmer/scorer has a slot for the blades to run in - nothing to warp or change. I did not rate this a total of 5 stars because the scoring blade has to be pressed very hard and run a few times to get a good score. Once it does the score line is great. If that doesn't matter to you this trimmer is great. It has lots of measuring scales no matter which way you turn it and a nice long arm that extends for longer measures horizontally.UPDATED: after using this trimmer for 3 weeks I have reevaluated my impressions; the arm that holds the blades never stopped sticking. Everytime - everytime I used it it was stuck again. I had to pry it open to insert paper. The blade is already dull. I would have to search for the correct blade because it does not use the typical fiskar brand blades. Just not worth it. Don't be sucked in by the inexpensive price.
