Very nice TV for the price!
I bought this Supersonic 12 inch TV to replace my Eviant 7 in. that quit a few years ago. Great picture and sound is decent for a portable TV this size. Indoor antenna picks up 22 channels. Might try to hook up to an outdoor antenna and see how many more I can get. I like the remote lay out....easy to navigate. Overall, money well spent for a good TV!

Good Value - Quality Product
I wear a cpap so it’s awkward to watch the large bedroom tv while wearing in bed. This monitor fits perfectly on my rolling bedside stand for the cpap. It has hdmi for my fire stick (which is powered via USB port), sleep timer, good speakers/remote, and with the window antenna I already had, 40 crystal clear channels. Easy to dial in the picture and sound to your preference using the menu. The battery lasted about 4 hours when tested. Prefect setup mounted above my mini iPad. Only negative is the viewing angle isn’t really very wide, but works for my uses.

Yes, it will work with Direct TV Wireless genie!
This tv is awesome thus far, if my opinion changes overtime I will come back and update it. The picture is really pretty, its lightweight and it works with Direct TV satellite wireless genie via the HDMI port... yeah!!! That means I'm free to take it to the carport, back porch, garage, etc and still get satellite service. Now the down side is there is no remote code for this model in the genie, but its not that big of a deal. You will use the direct tv genie remote for mostly everything except volume and turning the tv off and on. You will have to use either the tvs remote or the buttons on the side for volume and off/on. That might be a good thing anyway because the manual recommends turning off from the tv buttons anyway. I still can't get over how pretty the picture is either on DTV with the antenna or via Direct tv. Oh also once you connect your Direct tv, go into the settings on the direct tv remote and set the screen setting to 16:9 widescreen mode. Once I did that the picture went from darn good to excellent. I have left the plastic screen cover on for now but will probably remove it later. CONS and the reason it didn't get 5 stars. A) the antenna that comes with it is a joke. Out of 35 available OTA (over the air) channels available in my area it only picked up 3 and not one was a major network. Fortunately I had another antenna from an older portable tv, I put that on instead and was able to get 25 of the channels including NBC and CBS. I'm sure when outdoors I will get ABC as well. So at this price point it should come with a more powerful antenna. Be prepared to buy one if you don't have one and want to use this during power outages or when cable / sat is not available. B) I chose this to watch while lying in bed and not disturb anyone else. Well its perfect in that it doesn't emit out a lot of light like my on the wall tv, however, the stand really sucks. the only way to get it at an angle slanted down enough for from bed viewing while lying down is the prop books under the metal stand part. Fortunately that worked because the over the bed table I have it on has a lip to keep it from tipping over. My older tv has a opening on the bottom where you could put it on a mini tripod Polaroid 8" Heavy Duty Mini Tripod With Pan Head With Tilt For Digital Cameras & Camcorders and adjust it anyway you want to, this one has the same opening but its on the back of the tv between the two speakers so can can't get as much downward direction as you would get if the socket was located on the bottom of the tv. C) It doesn't come with remote batteries (AAA size is needed) I know this is a small thing but again for the price they could throw in some cheap AAAs just to get people started D) I wish the power cord was a tad longer. E) I wish it had 2 HDMI so I could connect SAT and Firestick at same time. Must remove one to play the other because there is only one HDMI port. I don't have a port replicator so I don't know if that would work or not. F) At this price point it should come with the car charger, it does not. I have a converter in my hurricane kit so I will just use that if I need to charge it from the car during power outages but again something in this price range and is portable should have a cigarette lighter adapter included. PROS: It works with Satellite tv that uses HDMI! (main reason I needed this model) B) Gorgeous picture once you make proper adjustments in Direct TV for it C) doesn't emit tons of light so the room remains dark and not disturb others E) Very light weight and portable for moving from room to room. F) works with my Cordless headphones ONN Wireless Headphones with Transmitter that uses a remote transmitter connected to the TV's audio jack. So no one will be disturbed by the volume. If you have college kids that will be sharing a dorm room, this tv, the wireless headphones and a privacy pop tent Privacy Pop Bed Tent (Twin XL) - BLACK will be the best gift you can give them. Great TV, Poor Monitor
For a portable television this is a great value with an impressive set of features. But I bought it primarily for use as a monitor and that is it's greatest weakness.I can't figure out what resolution this display actually is, but it's lower than 1080p.It has an unusual HDMI interface that lies to your device, like what is found in many small projectors. It will actually take all sorts of input resolutions, even 4k.It then converts the signal it gets and displays it on the screen, unfortunately the result is rather unpleasant to look at, the image is horizontally squished and blurry. You'll also have some black bars on the sides for most resolutions. I sent all sorts of resolutions trying to figure out what this thing's native rez is but nothing ever actually looked right. Interestingly 4k was the only input I found that actually took up the entire screen, of course since it doesn't have the pixels to actually display 4k it just looks silly. You can use this as a monitor in a pinch, but staring at the squished blurry text on it for very long gives me a headache. It's squished for broadcast TV as well, this display doesn't appear to actually be 16:9, but that's not blurry and it looks crisp and clear even if a bit squished. If you want a great value portable TV you can also hook your videogames up to and has a bonus FM radio function, buy it.If you were hoping to use it as a portable monitor, give it a hard pass.

Ok large camera monitor in a pinch
The media could not be loaded. I had saw that others had been asking if this Portable TV would work as a Camera Monitor. I can say that is does work on the Panasonic's. I would not use it for any critical color work but it does appear to do an ok job to make sure you have your subject in focus. One warning would be to make sure to turn down the volume on the TV prior to turning on the camera otherwise you get a lot of unpleasant audio feedback.

Poor picture quality.
Very poor screen quality. Must watch head on, view for the sides is horrible. Would not pick up any TV stations even with an antenna amplifier. Connected Roku device but picture quality was not good. Over priced too.

Finally a Portable TV that makes me happy!
This TV worked better than 2 previous brands purchased (ie. Pyle and Tyler).Pros: Sound/speakers and picture are great. The remote is less complicated with options, radio was easy to access.Cons: I would have preferred more instructions in manual to program radio. It would have been convenient to supply a better antennae and a charge cable for car.I will say that Amazon and Tyler were very accommodating by working through my issues with all TVs.

Excellent TV!
I bought this for the kitchen for my wife. Every time I go by it I think what an amazing picture it provides. The only thing I would improve is the remote. Its buttons are squishy and don't seem to respond quickly. I could probably find a universal remote, but, the thing does work and is only used for power and volume. This would be an excellent choice for RVing or camping. Or, for backup in a power outage.
