I would have given this item 5 stars but for the assembly help provided. The instructions provided were so vague and even the illustrations were lacking. Thankfully I was still able to assemble the product. The shippers did a number on the shipping box. It was barely together when UPS delivered it. Everything was starting to scatter inside. I will give credit to the packaging, everything was wrapped and protected well. I only had 1 dented area and did unfortunately have 1 chipped area also. If it had not been wrapped and protected so well, it would have been returned. By the way, solid wood is a deceptive description. This podium is veneer over glued sawdust. It does look good assembled.

We used this podium once and it fell apart and it cannot be used, We used it after the return date, so now we have a broken product and no one to reach out to.

This is a quality lectern. I've bought a number over the years for my church and my desire is usually for ample top space, easy movement of lectern and minimalist appearance.I was not initially attracted by the product picture. The lectern looked darkly institutional. But then I saw a picture of the lectern in the first review and the wood looked lighter and more appealing than in the product picture. In fact, the lectern is much better looking in person than in the Amazon picture. The lectern has a nice contrast between blond and darker wood and does not appear a bleak institutional piece, but more attractive and Shaker-esque. You will find a better representation of the lectern's appearance in the product video and in the pictures showing the lectern in use lower on the product page.Though I don't like the look of the wheels inset under the wood base, the wheels themselves are good quality with easily-operated brakes and their presence make moving the lectern much easier than moving a heavy lectern without wheels.I don't care for the lectern's drawer. It serves only to attract junk. And I would prefer the front panel were just the blond wood rather than the wider, three-panel setup. Narrower is better in lectern fronts.Finally, I like the large top. You can fit an iPad, notes and a book on the top with room for a coffee cup. This is a well-built, quality lectern.

Nice looking podium. Took a minute to assemble but not super complicated if you follow the directions (but they're not great). Not missing any pieces or parts.

So I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but ours came in excellent condition with no missing pieces or Hardware and had the instructions as well! My husband was easily able to get this fully put together and said it was simple and straightforward As Long as You Follow the instructions. Once it's all assembled and ready to go it's very sturdy and very well made. It does not sway around whatsoever it definitely stays firmly planted at the base. The quality is excellent and you can tell that the wood is pretty heavy duty and nicely made. This definitely functions as intended and I love that it has the little drawer on it for extra storage as well! This is a really awesome design and I definitely think it's worth every penny in quality alone! If you are looking for a nice little Podium this one is really nice and will save you a ton of money! Definitely a solid 10 out of 10 great bang for your buck

This wooden podium on wheels arrived well protected and thoughtfully packaged within a large, generic looking, branded box. The hardware was conveniently packaged inside of a little, plastic container with a secured lid. The instructions were clearly printed and understandable. It also included a parts list. The podium itself is made of quality materials. The casters seem a bit small but roll smoothly on clean, smooth, flat, surfaces. It is sturdy and professional looking. I particularly like the storage space it offers within. It also has a nice cover for when it is not in use. Overall, I am very happy with it.

Great value for an easy to assemble wooden speakers podium. The podium is sturdy and well designed with rear storage including a locking drawer. The podium is mounted on casters for easy and silent movement. The casters are locking to prevent unwanted movement.
