Light weight, and doesn't stain.
I have purchased many different dry erase boards in the past for my students. Eventually they all have ended up with stains from the dry erase markers which wouldn't come off with erasing. These sound/blend dry erase boards leave no stains when erasing the dry erase markers, and are so light and easy to store. The individual squares are perfect for my students segmenting of individual sounds in words, and also on the back side, the squares are great for chunking larger words by prefix, roots, and suffixes. This is a great product! I highly recommend that teachers purchase this product for use in classroom.

Good buy, but check your products.
I love this set, except one of the boards came to me torn although it was laminated. They are lightweight and easy to use.

So wonderful!
I use them in my first grade classroom everyday. They are so amazing.

Great concept, so so quality.
I really like the layout of the board. They're super helpful in a classroom with blending and sounds. My biggest grip is the thinness. These are almost dry erase sheet paper thin. I do not see these lasting long in an elementary classroom. They need to be on a thicker board.

Sound spelling cards
The media could not be loaded. I finally pulled these out and I'm loving them for one of my small groups. A few of my special kiddos know enough letters and sounds that we are now working on encoding CVC words. I'm using these boards to work on spelling words and other CVC words right now.I give them a word and ask them to write it in the boxes. I usually end up breaking it down by phone. Then I go over the word and write it for them. I ask them to check off each letter they got correct and the practice writing it on the lines correctly. It's been a great way for them to take what we were working on and start applying it to writing.

Work well
I recommend using Expo brand dry erase markers on these for easy clean up. These are wonderful for practice in the classroom. I like that there are boxes for students to separate blends, etc. These sheets are sturdy and durable. Good value for the money.

Great for Reading class or elementary
I teach reading and ESOL at my high school. This is a great tool for low-level interventions. I mostly do phonics work with my ESOL students. I love that I can just erase and reuse/keep working. Elementary teachers usually work more with phonics, but I recommend this for anyone working with a student on phonics and syllables. Definitely worth it and it's a great tool
