My favorite planner!
I only learned of Hobonichi last year... And out of all of my planners -- this is the one I was most consistent with! I absolutely adore the black gingham cover - it fits my vibe and style so much more than the yellow covers. The fact that it has trackers (well it's what I use them for), monthly, weekly, AND daily pages -- the size is actually amazing! So much space to be creative or functional!! If you want to see what I mean - check out it's Amy Y'all on YT -- you should SEE how CHUNKY her planner is at the end of the year, and the spine is still in tact!! The quality can't be beat. The only issue I would say is the paper but I'm sure there are millions of reviews on the paper so I won't go there. I just hope they find a better option for next year.

Be(a)ware: this HON is not hardcover
Be careful! The product description is inaccurate on several counts and mostly applies to the hardcover HON books (which this is not!). This doesn't have a hardcover, and this doesn't have bookmarks. The product description contradicts itself about the cover material -- the part that says it is softcover is correct. Note that the product title says, "Paper Series" and this is the first clue that it is not the usual hardback HON.If you're already familiar with the Hobonichi Techo, and want a softcover HON, then I'd rate this 5 stars, but if you're expecting a hardcover, then it's 1 star. Splitting the difference, I give it 3 stars.

Not a hard cover Hobonichi
I returned this for a Hon, with a true hard cover. It was a bit stiffer than the cousin, but not as expected. I now have my Hon and am disappointed on the bleed through.

Had to Return
I unfortunately had to return the planner because it came defective. The top corner binding was severely bent - so that all the pages were also bent. I was very disappointed.
