Very nice pencils
Theses are really nice butter smooth colored pencils. The colors are beautiful and many I have not seen before. I have well over 3,000 pencils. I have been collecting for many years. I just started using these pencils this week and I must say, why did I wait so long? I don’t have an answer for that. I try to use different sets weekly. Anyway, the pencils, in my opinion are butter smooth, blend well, not scratchy, no breakage, and sharpen well. Now this has been my experience with the pencils, others may not have the same experience. I am not an artist or an expert of anything. I consider myself a self taught colorist. I just love to color, love all my pencils, markers, paint pens and hundreds of coloring books. I am homebound, therefore I am coloring all day long and loving it. Happy coloring

Heavily pigmented, go down beautifully, good opacity.
My wife says these are excellent pencils. The colors are vivid, there’s a good range of colors and they lay down very smoothly with minimal effort. There was a small amount of crumbs, but she says she’s seen high-end pencils produce far more than these do. The names and numbers are printed clearly in gold on the barrels and are easy to read on every one. She says they blend well and are not prone to chipping. The metallic pencils have a nice amount of sparkle. She also said that these are comparable in quality to some of the much higher-priced pencils on the market and are definitely worth the price. They were packaged VERY securely. Besides being shrink-wrapped, they were packaged with cardboard end caps on the sides of the tin, wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap then placed in a snug box. Strips of foam were placed in the tin to protect the exposed leads. Every one arrived in perfect condition.

A wonderful soft, bendable starter set!
I’m an absolute pencil snob. I’m a colored pencil artist and have tried pretty much every pencil on the market. I generally use wax based pencils, but oil based pencils have a specific place and use in my collection. Saying this, I can honestly say that these pencils are beautiful. If you love soft cored pencils (like Prismacolor, for example) you will adore these pencils. They are very easy to blend and lay down numerous layers easily. I would highly recommend them for every level of artist. As with all colored pencils, to get the very best out of them, you need to use paper with the appropriate amount of tooth for your project. Using copy paper will give you “copy paper results.”The reason that I only gave these pencils four stars is the poor color range. The range of browns are very lacking. The black pencil isn’t very dark (a common problem). Overall though, a nice starter or add on pencil set. If you are adept at blending and building color, you might get along fine with this set. I hope this helps you decide if these are the correct pencils for you. Enjoy!

Love Love Love!!!!!
These are my favorite colored pencils. I have Prisma Color, Caran d’Ache and several other brands… not Polychromos though. So I thought I’d try these b/c they’re so affordable, and I LOVE them. I’m tired of soft easily-broken pencils. These are slightly “crumby” but I keep a brush handy and it doesn’t bother me a bit. I find I consistently reach for these.

Fun to use so many vivid colors!!!
These are not an expensive set, yet they give a rich feel to them. The colors are vibrant, and hold their tips when sharpened. I enjoy using these in adult coloring books--Amazon paper doesn't bother them. I haven't found anything that does bother them but very toothy paper. Or plastic-y paper. These do well on ordinary paper as well as quality art paper. The colors are vivid, even on the lighter pressure, although if you want to see them pop, use a harder pressure or a blender. Then prepare to be wowwed!!! This isn't a pencil to be used for items you sell, as they are not lightast, no matter the claim. Inexpensive pencils are never lightfast, but hese are a lot of fun to use in coloring books or sketching. I hope this brand stays around, as I intend to use them a lot.

Very Good Oil Pencils
I was pleasantly surprised to see how many light colors were in this set. The consistency of these pencils are soft & creamy oil pencils, which makes it easy to blend with wax pencils. I purchased my set for $42.00 & I can easily say they are well worth this cost. I would definitely buy again, but Hopely they will make larger sets in the future.

Ohuhu has done a great job!
I got the Ohuhu Colored Pencils yesterday. I was very interested in these pencils because I saw they had so many lighter(skin tones) colors. This set has very nice color family gradients and many reds (which are hard to find) The pastels are beautiful. The pencil is comfortable to hold, and the barrels are very close to the core color. One big plus is that the pencils have a color name and number in gold, but it is also very easy to read! They are a luxurious blend of hard and soft. Lay down light layers, then you can blend them all together. These pencils do like toothy paper. I was not impressed with a smoother paper used for markers and such. But you can build many layers with these on toothier papers. And my biggest surprise came with the two metallic pencils. The silver is very shiny, but the gold is beautiful. I’ve never seen a metallic gold that looks gold! But this one does! Well done, Ohuhu, on figuring out how to make a gold colored pencil! I am including a photo of my swatches. I have rearranged the colors to my liking. Sorry about the mistakes. I’ve never ever made a perfect swatch chart 😂 I’ll try again if/when Ohuhu comes out with more colors! I will certainly be getting that set too!
