Perfect summer activities to keep kids brains working

This was a great workbook, my son loved it! The online tests were great practice for school. The book was easy to use and he enjoyed being able to go through it on his own.

I purchased this book for my 5 year old who just completed kindergarten! I wanted to challenge her and provide her with some rigor before 1st grade. Mission accomplished! She's enjoying figuring out things she doesn't know and celebrating herself when she does. The pages are colorful and fun for her as well. I love that answers are provided in the back. I only wish there was a little more content/more pages for the cost.

I bought his for my 7 year old to refresh his academic skills during the transition from first to second grade. I didn't want something tedious that would be a chore for the both of us. This was fun and easy while reviewing all the concepts covered in first grade. He honestly didn't mind it and would do two pages (math and language) in about 5 - 10 minutes each day. If you want something challenging to get your child above grade level, this is not for you. If you want to review the previous grade so they are ready for the next grade, this is perfect. It is very organized, easy to use and engaging for the child.

This was a great summer activity and learning book for our grandson. He stepped right into 1st grade 100% prepared!

We bought this book for our 7 year old.The book was colorful and designed in a way that the kids will not stop doing it. The font size is also really well designed. Overall I recommend this book for kids to bridge their summer gaps with ease . Thank you Lumos learning!!

This felt more like a pre-K to K transition book than a 1-2 book.There were pages asking to draw shapes. Counting, adding single digits… my daughter was doing multiple pages in 10 minutes.I definitely would NOT recommend this for a upcoming second grader unless your child is really struggling.On the plus side, it is fun and engaging, so for an upcoming K student it may be good.

My granddaughter loves this activity book and looks forward to completing a lesson a day during her summer vacation.
