Combined with shop vac, works great!
I have to admit, I was a little worried at first that I would be compacting the lint deeper and create an even bigger problem. I decided to hook my shop vac to one end of the vent. Make sure it's a tight seal (most vents are about 4" in diameter and shop vac hoses are much smaller). I took a 6" square sheet of aluminum and cut a hole the size of the shop vac hose such that it fit snugly without letting any other air through. Then I fastened the aluminum crudely with duct tape to the vent opening. I turned on the shop vac and from the other side of the vent outside (about 25' away) I used the narrow-long brush and joined the extension pieces as it spun down the vent with a drill. I had no idea whether or not my idea even worked, but much to my surprise I opened the shop vac and it was caked with lint! Likely about 30 years-worth from the previous home owner. I highly recommend this approach and wouldn't do it any other way... you don't want to risk compacting the lint at a particular spot deep in the vent. It needs some air flow to help suck it out. Try it, you won't be disappointed! Well worth the effort!

Dryer cleaning tool
This is a great tool. There are many dryer cleaning tools on the market but this is probably the best and very easy to use. Surprising what is actually hiding in the duct work.

The brush kit came on time and packaged well. We were able to successfully clean out our dryer vent and increase the efficiency of the dryer. We would recommend the product.

It will do the job
Worked just fine the connections were super tight and you couldn't undo them just by hand but they provided a tool to get the pieces separated.

Adequate for cleaning dryer vents
Works pretty good. Only issues are that it is difficult to disconnect each rod and the rods tend to twist easily. I already broke one.

GREAT for cleaning dryer vents that you cant reach!!
We have a 4-unit building that has a very long dryer vent hose. This the PERFECT tool fir cleaning out the entire vent run. Easy and effective. Worried about this for a long time and finally found the perfect solution! Love it!!
