Great product!
I’m going to write a somewhat in-depth review but the overall will be at the bottom if you want to read that instead.I bought this for my cat that has Pica.If you are unaware of what Pica is, it’s a condition cats have when they have anxiety from living with cats they don’t get along with or an uncomfortable environment.Pica is basically a diagnoses for cats that eat a lot of non-edible objects. I recently had to get my cat stomach surgery for eating a hair tie, carpet, string, fake plants, fake grass, human hair and part of an iPhone charger. All within a 5-6 hour period. After lots of research on Pica, I was informed that it would help lessen her need to eat non-edible objects by getting her plenty of toys, interactive feeders, scratching posts, her own cat tree and cat grass.Since my cat loves stringy things like carpet and hair, the cat grass is an amazing substitute for that impulse. Plus she loves how it tastes and it doesn’t cause harm to her system no matter how much she eats.As for the product itself I noticed a few things:1) It comes with TONS of seeds and you don’t need to use them all at once in the little soil cup that comes with it. In fact, I only used 1/4 of the amount of seeds and they pretty much all sprouted and lots of grass grew from it.2) The soil cup is small so if you want to use all the seeds and have a lot of grass, use your own pot. Or germinate the seeds in little soil pods and then plant them in soil in your own pot. Either way, it depends on your own needs.3) After the grass dies you can try to dig out the roots from the given soil cup but you won’t be left with a lot of soil. So it’s probably a good idea to use your own pots.4) The grass grows very quickly and very long. Remember the longer the grass the longer the roots and the more room it will need to grow strong and stay alive. The soil cup doesn’t allow for enough aeration in the roots which kills the grass fairly soon after it grows. If you use your own pots make sure the depth of the pot is twice as deep as you want the grass to grow long so it has plenty of room for the roots to grow and be fully aerated.5) Doesn’t need to be watered too often when using the given soil pot. If you use a bigger pot/your own, then watering will depend on the size of the pot. Water it when the grass is dry to the touch or soil turns a lighter brown color.Overall:- Gives you PLENTY (more than enough) seeds.- The soil cup given is too small for proper aeration and growth of the grass which causes the grass to die faster.- My cat loves the grass! She eats it instead of eating all the non-edible things she has eaten in the past.- The grass grows fast and most (like 98%) of the seeds sprout and grow. Plus it doesn’t need to be watered super often.- Great product for the price, but I recommend using your own pots to grow it.Happy growing! 🪴

My cat loved it. He loved the smell. Great value for money. Seeds are quick to grown. The performance is fast growing. Stability is good normal and quality is good.

Keep it away from dogs who chew things
This was a great price compared to in pet shops; the seeds grew well after maybe 2 weeks. I didn't use all the seeds by any means, and there is a nice crop of grass that the cat enjoys. The only ding is that it's in a thin plastic container, and I have a dog who loves the destroy all things plastic. He once pulled a water pump out of the pond and chewed the plastic filter off of it. So I came home and found dirt and bits of plastic and bits of grass all over his bed. The roots were sturdy enough that I just plopped it into a bigger plastic bowl since I don't have a ceramic bowl the right size. It survived just fine. Now it's only on the floor when I'm around the house; the rest of the time it's in a sunny window with the rest of the plants.

So fast and easy!
The media could not be loaded. Sowed the seeds on Tuesday, started sprouting Thursday and moved them into the sun on Saturday! Doesn’t get much easier than that. I got the 1oz seeds but did not use the little container it came with and instead planted into two 16” planters. (There were more than enough seeds for this) I used Miracle Gro Moisture Control soil and followed the directions of planting the seeds by sprinkling over moist soil then applying a thin layer of soil to cover them. Then placed them in an outdoor closet in dark/low light until most had sprouted. (Temps in my area are 55 F at night to 80 F during the day) But you can also germinate them in a dark cabinet inside where it is warmer. Just make sure you move them into the sun when they sprout otherwise you’ll get mildew/mold. I have almost zero plant-growing experience and it worked out great! As you can see in the photos taken on day 4, kitty is already eager to get into the tender sprouts. It only took a couple more days for them the growth to become lush and thick. (The video shows how thick it grows even when initially it looks sparse) In the photos you can also see a small container of grown cat grass I got for 8 bucks from the pet store. (I know you can get them much cheaper from the grocery store but for some reason my cat only likes the expensive ones from the pet store. Of course.) So getting enough seeds to plant 2 to 3 entire planters full of grass seeds for this picky cat for under 4 bucks to me is a steal!Edit with video upload: 6 weeks later, and still kitty is still chomping.

Easy, simple, fast, and worth the money
I didn't think it would work. From the moment I saw it to when I stuck it in the window to grow, I thought it wouldn't work, but I was WRONG.The grass grew so fast?? I left it in the window for maybe a week, and by the time I opened it, there was an incredibly well developed root system (that was a bit root-bound since I left it for so long without checking up on it). I even had a few actual blades of grass amongst the shoots. It was stupid simple, too. Stab some holes in the bottom of the container (which ended up not even being necessary since I did a terrible job. The holes were too small for water to escape, oops), get the dirt wet (drain out the water from the side when you inevitably add too much, double oops), and dump in the seeds. Stir them in like you're a 1780's witch with a cauldron, stick the lid on and forget them on a windmill for a week, and boom, you have cat grass. I've already planted mine outside in a bigger pot so I'll have a nice big supply to give to my cats. It was honestly such an easy process that after I moved the grass out side, I refilled the cheap little container with dirt and some sunflower seeds, and a week later I had 15 sunflower seedlings growing in it.Overall, I'm glad I gave it a chance. My cats haven't actually been near it yet, so I don't know if they like it or not, but I won't factor that into the review since whether or not a cat likes it depends on the cat's personal and unique preference.10/10, might buy again if my cats end up liking it.

Sprouts fast
Quick delivery. This grass grows fast! Within 48 hours there was an inch of grass growth. I water it a few times a week and trim the grass with scissors once a week but it's getting dry.

The price was right
It didn't sprout very vigorously, and doesn't even look like grass, wilts easily. Roots are growing out the drain holes, next time I won't make any. My cat doesn't particularly like it. Don't think I'll be ordering this kind again.

Great product
Grew quickly, transferred it to another pot and it doubled in size. Cannot vouch for it myself but the cats seem to like it.
