Rhee Bros Oriental Noodle Ingredient Sweet Potato Starch 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)

Anyone who's made real Korean chop chae (or jop jae) knows these noodles are a must for that dish. They are so good, so unique, and super easy to fix. The noodles arrived in perfect condition and there are enough in one package (the order has 2 pkg) to feed 12 people with chop chae as a side dish.

I bought this so we could have a paleo-friendly pasta because my husband doesn't like spaghetti squash. It's actually not bad and really easy to make. I think you just have to remember to cut it because it's really long! My daughter also makes this as a snack once in a while.

You need to know how to use these. They seem a little al dente and you're not supposed to cook them longer than 5 minutes.An Asian woman in the neighborhood makes them just right. Perhaps checking on You Tube might help.

Not the best taste but gluten free

Have you tried sweet potato noodles yet? If not, you should! They're also called glass noodles by the way, and when cooked have a very close consistency to gummy candy. Kind of chewy and stretchy, but not in a bad way. I found a great recipe on a cooking show called Korean Food made simple. I saw this in a grocery store while visiting Hawaii and was intrigued. I try to follow a gluten free / paleo diet most of the time, and was excited to see that sweet potato starch is the only ingredient!I used the noodles for this recipe for Japchae, [...] and it was delicious! I probably won't spring for these noodles often, but they are fun to try!

I made Chop Che, a Koren dish, out of it and everyone loved it.. very delicious and easy to make.
