Soy Granules (TVP) by Reviva Foods (Unflavored, 12.5oz)

So far so good. We bought this bulk package for dry storage and vacuum sealed many packages. This TVP seems slightly more like a powder than larger "granules" which makes it kinda mushy when used with any sort of liquid as in a sauce or for taco "meat". We have tried it in a mixture with black beans to make burgers and they hold up well. I am sure with some more experimenting we will get it right.

If you are making a recipe that requires ground beef try the soy granules instead. I was amazed at the texture and the quality of the product and how it resembled ground beef. I made some homemade chili and seriously it was hard to tell the difference between real ground beef in this product. Even my meat eating friends were fooled. You really have to try this product. I’m sure you will really like it. I can’t wait to try it in my next recipe!

They certainly fill the bill, but could do with a bit less powdery stuff and slightly larger granules. Will probably buy them again.

These soy granules taste really like ground meat when cooked in any recipe. On top of the great taste, these granules are made from organic non-genetically modified soy, which is the only type of soy produced in Transylvania, Romania, by law. Romanian law prohibits GMO soy cultures and all soy cultures there are periodically inspected. This is a great product, made from the BEST and healthiest quality soy.
