Favorite film
My all time favorite film. No other brand that I've found at least can replicate the look of e100. It's the sharpness and the tangibility of the colors that I love so much. I also love positive film and slide film due to the fact that you technically never really need to print them on paper!

Great film, small grain structure, better than digital.
So happy they make this film again. It it better than any other film type. If it wasn’t for the instant gratification of digital cameras and the price of this film to buy and develop I would never use a digital camera again. A little suggestion for you film photographers; when shooting film I typically over expose my shots by 1 stop but when shooting slide film (ektachrome) I try and expose the shot right on the money. Print film doesn’t have the latitude that negative film has. Negative is so much more forgiving when mistakes are made but slide film is more like a digital image, of you over expose the shot the highlights are gone forever. The same goes for the shadows if you under expose. Print film does not allow you to correct mistakes as much as a piece of negative. I live in Texas and I Had my film processed at the Dark room in California. Super easy and they will scan it in low res for free. I have also used lone star dark room in dallas Texas. Both perfectly great places to process E-6 print film.

An excellent film, more forgiving than expected and makes beautiful slides
After hearing that slide film must be exposed very accurately to have good results, I was expecting to have less good shots per roll than a typical roll of color negative. Additionally, I was expecting low levels of shadow and highlight detail that slide films are known for. To my surprise, every roll had shot after shot of images with great detail and very fine grain even when I didn’t get the exposure perfect (using an all-manual Leica M3 and a smartphone light meter). On top of it all this film also results in awesome positives when developed. I shot primarily moving subjects outdoors and shot this film at box speed. Attached are some shots of a Ferrari F1 car and a Ferrari 488 challenge car. Check out @filmgrainandoctane on Instagram for more examples.

A very nice old/new slide choice for film purists
A classic Kodak slide film that loves warm colors and produces beautiful reds. As opposed to Velvia, Ektachrome feels more natural and more applicable when photographing people. The results will depend on what you will use it for. I find it to be a well balanced if not neutral film that can be used for a variety of well lit situations. It likes light and as many slide films in performs poorly in low light.

What’s not to love about E100?
What’s not to love? The price is a little much, but hey, it’s E100. I’m just glad it’s back. Quality film, was fresh, and extremely sharp. Let’s just work on price.

Great slide film!
I was lucky to snag this before the price went up. Great slide film, more bluish tones than I would like but I like that it pushes well

It's back!
I wish people would stop writing reviews based on their item arriving damages. They in now way are reflecting the quality of the actual product from the manufacturer. This film is great. It looks very natural in it's color pallette. I just got my first roll developed since it's re-release, and I'm pleased. If you are doing landscape, maybe stick with Fuji. If you don't like Fuji's magenta cast, or if you are photographing people, then this stuff is for you.
