Working great and I had great customer service help!
On Saturday, I started installing the DM-100 Swing Door to help my wife open the door that goes out to the garage. This door is spring loaded and with her disabilities she has a very hard time opening the door and going out to the garage to get into the car. She uses a walker and is unable to keep the door open.Installing the Swing Door Opener went very well however we noticed we were missing a couple of parts for the magnitic lock. The door worked just fine but I wasn’t happy not having the door secure at night. I had to wait until Monday to call their customer service. I was expecting to be on the phone on hold waiting for at least 1/2 hour waiting to speak with a real person. To my surprise I got someone within a couple of minutes. He was very helpful and took down the parts that I was missing. I had to send them proof of purchase via Amazon invoice which really wasn’t a biggie. It was only a week and I received the missing parts. Installed them and everything is working perfectly. My wife loves it and is now able to go from the house to the garage without any problem.

Difficult installation but works as advertised
I got the DM-100 for the front door of my condominium. They say only that the DM-150 is for exterior doors but a representative from the Skylink told me that the DM-100 and DM-150 are exactly the same, except one comes with the electromagnetic lock while the other comes with the electric strike. The DM-150 cost more and with a high probability that you have to hire a professional to install the electric strike that would increase the cost significantly. So I went with the DM-100 with the electromagnetic lock. The installation was really difficult and took over four hours. Admittedly part of this had to do with my father, who is impatient and gets frustrated very easily, but there are also a few parts of the installation guide that could have been more clear. There is both a QuickStart installation guide and a full manual and there were some slight discrepancies between the two which added to the confusion. But for the most part I thought the instructions were pretty clear. Your mileage may vary.Once it was finally done it does work quite well. I also got the wireless keypad for outside my door and the wireless button for inside and they were both very easy to set up. The electromagnetic lock holds the door shut quite well although I wouldn't depend on it to keep your home secure. Apparently you can buy third-party electromagnetic locks and add them to the set up for more security but the one that comes with the DM-100 is enough for me. Although the latch is now disabled on my front door the deadbolt still remains so my front door is still quite secure when it needs to be. Unlocking the door wasn't my problem. Opening and closing it was. But now thanks to the DM-100 that issue is solved, and at a pretty reasonable price. I've looked around and you won't find a more cost-effective solution for an electric door opener. So this is definitely worth a look if you think you might need something like this.

Skylink door opener
October, 2013 - Easy to install, opens and closes the door properly. Good quality hardware. Remote makes it easy to open and close door without having to go down the stairs.October, 2015 - The opener stopped working, the electromagnetic lock does not work properly and never releases. I could not tell if the problem is with the controller or the electromagnet. After several attempts to contact the company over many months, they finally responded with a way I could test the lock. The problem is in the unit. It took more months before they acknowledged my problem and said I should buy a replacement. Yes, it is out of warranty, but I should not have to throw it in the trash after 2 years. I will not likely buy another unit if they fail so quickly, and the timeliness of their response was awful.

Does what I need it to do.
I used this door opener in a school project, and it worked for my purposes. However, through using it, I discovered that there is a flaw in the design spec list. One of the specs is that if someone obstructs the door's path, it will stop. That feature doesn't work. The lock works too. I powered it with 12V separately. I've only tested it with a cabinet-sized door.
