I recently tried the Solimo Dark Roast Coffee Pods, and they’re a solid option for everyday coffee drinkers. It might not be the most gourmet coffee out there, but for the price and convenience, it's definitely worth it. Overall, it's a great budget-friendly option for dark roast lovers.

This is such a good deal for the price. You get a ton of coffee and the quality of the coffee is amazing. The dark roast is perfect not too bitter. None of the pods were busted open in the box and that was always a good thing. I highly recommend this product.

This is very, very good espresso/Nespresso, whatever. I have a Bestpresso machine that I use with these, despite my best intentions to use coffee I'd grind at home. I even went so far as to order six little Nespresso cups to use with this system.Naturally, when I first got the machine, I figured I'd better order one box of the coffee pods until my DIY pods arrived. But they were a little late, and the coffee made with the pods was SO good and so easy, I got hooked. But these pods aren't very expensive, and they do make excellent espresso, no cleanup of coffee grounds anywhere. I got spoiled. It was easy.So, these coffee pods are now a staple in my Amazon Subscribe and Save list. They really do make good coffee, and the cost of buying these pods to use at home compared to the price of going to the coffee store - no comparison! These still make great coffee. The Solimo here is my favorite brand and flavor.Unfortunately, when my Subscribe and Save boxes got here yesterday, someone had packed my two boxes of these Solimo pods on the very bottom of a box and then added a few heavy items. You can guess what happened next. One box of pods was a little beaten up, but it was fine otherwise. The other box was smashed open, and there were little red pods all over the box.So this is why I gave my favorite espresso four stars instead of the five I'd normally give it. Really, it wasn't a big deal; I put all the coffee pods in a plastic bag and took them inside and that was that. Still, someone needs a reminder to put the less sturdy items on top of the box, not underneath whatever was in that box with the pods. Nothing split open except the box, and no harm was done.These are still my very favorite espresso/nespresso pods, especially in this variety, Solimo. I like the Risotto, I believe it is, too, but this is just a little richer. And, well, it doesn't make a mess, which is helpful to someone whose dog has spilled three of her last four espressos somehow and is thinking of going back to bed for two or three days. But coffee, particularly espresso, will normally get me out!

I have tried various brands and these definitely come in as a solid second place to the actual Nespresso pods and that, I think, is saying something! I cannot stomach the price of Nespresso pods for everyday use but I do have a container of them on display in my coffee nook because they are pretty. Those are used for guests and an occasional treat for ourselves! These pods are not display worthy but we just keep them tucked in the top drawer of our coffee nook. We use these pods for everyday because they are sooo affordable and they really do taste great! I can brew a whole cup with these (not just 3.7 oz) and it still tastes like a full bodied coffee :) Winner!

As coffees go, to each their own. My roommate like this coffee "as is," whereas I only like it if I choose the "Strong" setting before brewing. The price is definitely right - I always hold out for the prices to be below 50 cents per. Unfortunately, recycling pods isn't practical due to the contamination by the coffee grounds and what it takes in water to get just the plastic.

I bought a box of this Amazon Brand - Solimo Coffee Pods, Dark Roast, Compatible with Keurig 2.0 K-Cup Brewers, 24 Count.I finally bought myself a Keurig-Style Coffee Maker that has 5 different water level settings: - 6 oz., 8 oz., 10 oz., 12 oz., and 14 oz.I wanted some lower cost K-Cup Pods to experiment with, until I could figure out the best water level to K-Cup Pod ratio.Since I have always liked the Amazon Solimo teas, I figured their Coffee would be decent too.These Solimo Coffee Pods, Dark Roast Coffee, work perfectly in my new Coffee maker.I went through around 5 of these pods until I finally settled on 1 pod per 8 oz. of water.BUT, as far as the flavor goes, the Dark Roast flavor is reminiscent of that burnt taste some of the Starbuck coffees have.I love my coffee strong, but not burnt tasting. So I really don't like this Solimo Coffee Pods in the Dark Roast, but that is just my preference.

My caffeine tolerance has become so wonky over the years that at this point I usually brew two K-Cups instead of one by default. That's what I did with these too, and I was surprised by how much of kick they gave me. Definitely stronger than I expected. The flavor is alright too, nothing special for a K-Cup light roast but certainly tasty enough (I brewed it over ice, if that makes a difference). Easy to recommend these, especially for such a good price.

I have tried many coffee K cups over the years and we found that the Amazon Solimo coffee is perfect for us. It has a very bold taste and it is not acidic at all. Give it a try. Price is great also.
