I love this item, very easy to use for my 2 little wriggling little schnauzers, it seems a little stiff at first but I soon got the hang of it, makes my life easier with this item. Would recommend.

I managed to do the job, but a couple of the nails being quite sturdy made these twist and lock onto the nail rather than cutting through. Then had a backward moving dog with clippers attached. So whilst these are excellent value for money and I'd happily recommend them, just be aware that on a large dog with thick nails, you may meet your match 😄😉

Whilst I was enjoying my time in lockdown, my poor dogs nails had overgrown somewhat. Training for the marathon chasing my dog round the sofa is not my ideal exercise, as she runs a mile at the first set of clippers I bought for her, so, to improve my chance of actually cutting her nails, the guillotine type of cutter took my fancy. Imagine my dismay when emblazoned on the reverse of the packaging was ‘Made in China’, my husband dove for the fallout shelter to hide from Covid, whilst I chose not to believe my worries as they might not be ‘not so cheap bits of crap plastic’. - this is how the experiment ended up going. Yes, they are flimsy feeling, not robust in the slightest, the metal mechanism is fluid, if not a little worrisome when heading towards a dogs paw with it. The force I had to exert to cut her nails was considerable, managing to clip 7 nails, the blade had started to dull already. I shall be purchasing a heftier pair for my bi-monthly trek round the sofa next time.

I didn't expect it to be as easy as it was to trim the dog and cats claws with this as it was. Hubby held the cat, I clipped her claws and because the clippers don't drag or catch the cat didnt know what we'd done until we put her down. I eascaped cat scratch free. The dogs a proper puddin and wouldn't care one way or the other what we were doing as long as he was getting attention! He just lay down and let me clip away!

My dog hates them ones miles when She sees them

This is easy to use for small dogs or puppies. My papillon didn’t complain having his nails clipped. The nail file was useless and bent at the hand on first use…. now in the bin.
