Excellent, especially for the price
The Oktava MK-012 was recommended to me by an audio guy who works on feature films, with mics that cost over $2,000. I bought the matched pair to add to my collection, which includes lots of other microphones. This quickly became one of my favorites, especially for indoor dialogue -- but the three different capsules provide a lot of flexibility for all kinds of applications. You may never have heard of Oktava, as the brand doesn't have wide distribution in the USA, unlike Shure, AKG, Rode, Audio Technica, Sennheiser, etc. But those familiar with Oktava know these are something special, in a league with much higher priced alternatives.
