With this cart I can carry much more camera equipment over moderate terrain than I could carry on my back. So far I have used it only on beaches. On one case the tide came in and I had to travel through about 6 inches of water to get back to the vehicle. My gear stayed dry. The tires did sink some in the soft very wet sand but not so much as to cause a problem. When leaving the cart free standing you should make sure the stand at the front of the cart is moved fully forward to prevent it from toppling.

what do people carry in a beach cart??? beach chairs maybe? the cart is not wide enough to fit your average beach chair. Poor design, otherwise would have been good. I sent it back.

You have to keep some equipment on the seat for "ballast" or it will tip over.Price when you add accessories is way to high for this low level of technology.I'm not sure if I would buy this again. Right now there are not many alternatives out there.

Purchased this item to transport photography equipment over long distances. And it works flawlessly, with ONE exception. The maker ships the cart with pins to facilitate easy removal of the tires. Nice feature, BUT, the actual pin loves to work its way loose. We lost the original pins several times (and managed to recover them) but that got old quickly! The permanent solution, that ECKLA needs to implement, is to ship the product with 'Hitch Pin Clips'. These are easy to find at any hardware store, and very cheap. Looking forward to using our Rolly Gear Cart for a long time!

Just what I've been looking for, for my camera gear. Works great off road on the dirt trails.

This is an overhyped buggy, very flimsy, easy to bend or tear. Really regret this purchase, which I made with hopes of having a decent cart for photo gear.Also clumsy to store, unless you prop it up or lay it flat.As another reviewer stated, the way the handle folds is very awkward. We have to fold the handle to get the cart in our trunk, and every time we do, it feels like it is going to tear the think little strap holding the canvas taut. This alone would have been a deal breaker if I had understood how the handle knobs and canvas were connected.As a beach cart, ok, it would work, but in that case it is priced about four times what it is worth. For photo gear, keep looking.Why did I keep it? Well, every once in a while, I make a purchase, take a quick look at it (assembled, in this case), then don't really USE it before the 30-day return window closes. Not a cheap mistake!
