20-30 mins to put it together. Very solid bike! (UPDATE: Seat clamp broke)
I was super excited to get the bike for the weekend, but also expecting to spend an hour or more putting it together. I was wrong! It only took about 20-30 mins to put it all together enough for my son to ride it. Another 5-15 mins spent getting the brakes tuned (one side dragged, at first), the reflector on and the seat adjusted just right.// ASSEMBLYThe vast majority of the bike comes pre-assembled. Out of the box it is all protected with foam wrapping and looks a bit daunting. Once you get the strings untied and the wrapping off, you find that you simply just need to put the front wheel on and the handle bars in the frame. Everything else is already preassembled (though may need some tightening.)Keep in mind that you may need to adjust the brakes—ours were off-center and a bit loose.// TOOLSWhile an open-ended wrench and two Allen wrenches come with the bike, you DO NEED a Philip's head screw driver to install the reflector, and tighten the bell and brake handle.// TIRESThe tires are not fully inflated, but I found them to road-ready anyway. They are supporting my 30-pound son just fine, but plan on inflating them soon.// SEAT HEIGHTOur son is 34" tall (unsure on the inseam at the moment, though he does wear 2T/3T pants), and we have the seat all the way down with the seat front pointing down a bit. He fits it just right. An inch higher on the seat and he might not be able to touch the ground all that well. The bike comes with a second longer seat post, which is awesome! He will be able to ride this bike for years to come.// WEIGHTI was surprised to find the bike feels solid, yet not that heavy. I wouldn't want to carry it up a mountain for 3 hours, but if I had to walk a couple miles with it I would be ok. We are looking to make some carry straps or get the PUKY one.// CONSTRUCTIONThis bike feels very solid. Once everything was tightened up and the way we wanted it, it feels solid and doesn't make a sound when moved or placed (dropped) on the ground. Some bikes rattle or sound janky, this one DOES NOT. Really impressed with the build on this bike. I'm confident that it would even support a fully grown adult (try at your own risk).I HIGHLY recommend this balance bike for anyone with children that are 34" or taller (or wearing at least 3T pants).UPDATE: The seat clamp broke. After only about 2 hours of use, we were trying to adjust the seat and the clamp broke at the nut. Just stripped out and popped off. Kind of bummed that it broke so soon, but to save us the hassle of a return we just bought this clamp: Neewer Aluminum Quick-Release Seat Post Clamp 31.8mm Black Bike Seat Clamps (1 Pack) . Writing today to say it fits perfectly and works well. I think it will hold up better than the original.

Thought about returning it for a little while.....
I wanted to pop on and leave a quick review. Ordered this for my 4 year old son for Christmas. Assembly was easy, most of the bike was already put together.I only have a few issues to note that make it 4 stars instead of 5. In fact, I would give it a 3.5 if I could.Pros:- Sturdy, pretty much preassembled- Perfect for my "vertically challenged" son, able to comfortably adjust the seat, with lots of room to grow- Great light weight bike- Love the hand brake and the bellCONS:- Bike is marked as "Made in China," No big deal, but for some reason I thought that it was mnfg in Germany.... But I probably just read that wrong.- Plastic guard at bottom of seat post is not well attached, so it keeps falling off. Nothing that some glue wouldn't fix.- Bell is not the most sturdy. Plastic ringer on a spring was twisted and "broken" after a couple of uses. We have replaced the bell with something more sturdyBIGGEST CON:- We had to completely disassemble and reassemble the brake system. Out of the box we could adjust the brake, and the tire would roll with some resistance, but it was usable. As soon as the brake handle was compressed, the brake would grab the tire, but then not "RESET" making the bike unusable. No matter what adjustment of cable loosening worked to fix it.We had to take it apart to get to the spring that supplies tension to the whole thing, readjust it (with some bending of metal) and put everything back on. My husband and I only "almost" got divorced once during this process.... After everything was reassembled it works great and brake applies pressure the right way.WE LOVE THIS BIKE.My son got right on it and started scooting around the house. After about 8 hrs, off and on for a few days - we took it outside. He's now "riding" it like a pro. Using his feet as well as picking them up and coasting for at least 10ft at a time. This is a kid who has refused to ride any sort of tricycle (probably due to the length of his legs). That's why it get's four stars. The joy that we are seeing as he rides it completely redeems the mnfg issues that we ran into.

We bought this bike for our daughter's 2nd birthday. It was really easy to put together and all of the materials were sturdy and high quality. The seat, at the lowest setting, was just a little high and our daughter is in the 90th percentile for height but come spring time it'll be perfect and that's when she'll be using it more anyway. Definitely very satisfied with this purchase!

Love this balance bike
Love this balance bike. I bought it for my 3 year old but my 5 year old used it for about a week and then transitioned back to her bike without training wheels and got it on the very first try. The bike is sturdy and well constructed and the seat is easily adjusted for different aged children

Everything It Claims to Be
It is everything it claims to be. Great for a toddler who wants something to ride.
