I purchased 2 of these, 1 as a gift and the other for my daughter both to have and use while on a beach vacation together. One of them would not charge so I returned it and got another one. Now both are working and charged ready for trip. The buttons are hard to push. Every time their little hands would shake and picture would be blurry. Now the true test, the water! One of them took on water rather quickly and well no longer working. Do not recommend this camera for a child or anyone for that matter.

My 4yr old has a hard time pushing down on the snap button to take a picture. Not that kid friendly.

The buttons are difficult to press, so if you have big fingers this might be hard to work. Otherwise just a great little camera.

Good quality with low price. Arrive on time. Excellent product . Actually, I am an amateur photographer and own three DSLR cameras with a selection of lenses. However that collection does not eliminate the need for a handy item for just daily needs. Give it to my son who is 3 years old as a gift for him learning photography. He loves this camera! I wasn't expecting much from this, I only wanted a camera that was a) cheap and b) would provide a better quality image than the average smart phone camera. But the image quality is truly amazing.

"Underwater" my *ss. I took 1 photo underwater and it went haywire...it wouldn't turn off, it kept snapping photos when pressing the power button, now it won't turn on. The most annoying thing is it probably ruined the memory card I had to buy separately...not that I can freakin get it out to be sure. You need tweezers to even get the thing out. So disappointed.As a professional photographer, I was more than excited to gift this to my daughter for her 5th birthday. We even let her open it at the beginning of the pool party so she could use it with her friends. She was so excited. I can't reiterate enough how disappointed I am in this.

Received this item as a gift for my 8 year old. I do not recommend this camera for kids or adults. This camera is advertised for kids but the menus are complicated and unintuitive for kids or adults. There are too many options for a kids camera. A kid using the camera can easily change settings or camera mode accidentally and not know how to revert back to the previous state. Instructions are poor. They do not explain all the features well and they’re written with a poor translation into English. This is essentially a below average camera packaged in kids colors. Waterproof is the only redeeming quality. Picture quality seemed to be ok for a kids camera.To top it all off, battery stopped charging after only 3-4 weeks.

My daughter never used it underwater until yesterday when we got to Hawaii and went snorkeling. It died after first picture. It is not underwater camera. I was hoping it just lost power and was charging overnight. Just checked it and the lens is fogged from inside and you can see the water underneath the screen. We used it as supposed to. The waterproof plug was in. I am very disappointed and my daughter is crying. She was very excited to use it finally underwater. Do not buy it!

I ordered this camera for my daughter as she loves to take pictures. Being able to take them under water was an added bonus. However, after one use, water was trapped under the digital display (see pictures) and the camera would no longer turn on. I let it charge for 9 hours and it immediately cuts off. I now have a super disappointed daughter. Returning the camera for something else.
