Teak Portable Single Step

I purchased two (2) of this step for a bed step - one for each side of a very high bed. Measurements are accurate and the step offers just enough height to make it easier to get into bed. It is hollow, but holds a significant weight capacity. There is also non-slip stripping on the bottom which will be helpful on hardwood floors. The width of the step isn't too wide or narrow . One of the reasons I chose this step to use as a bed-step is that it doesn't take up a lot of floor space whereas the more common 2 bed step would likely take up significant space. The color of the steps I received look like the one in the photo and match nicely with warm, natural tones. The only negative I have was that there was a delay in shipping. In fact, I had to contact the seller, Teakworks4u, in order to ensuring the steps were shipping after receiving nothing for a significant period of time. Otherwise pleased.

I needed a bathroom step stool for a 3 year old. This is a quality product (made in America, wood from Malaysia). Teak wood and stainless steel screws. Very solid and works well for our purpose. The bottom has a no skid application. The top has natural teak wood that grips the bare foot, even better grip when wet. The stool should hold up very well in a humid bathroom, and later we plan on using it in our shower as a toe stool for the wife. Only negative is the price. Our first step stool was a plastic "fisher price" that wasn't tall enough, but could work well for lower height toilets. We debated between this Teak step stool and the Kid Kraft 2-step stool, and ended up with the Teak stool because the space saving design and quality materials.Update: 18 months later and the step looks and functions great. My two children give it a great workout and suspect it will last a long time, unlike those plastic and particle board steps that have the same function.

The only reason this step got 4/5 stars is because it is hollow inside, and that was not disclosed prior to purchase. Otherwise it is very nice, sturdy, and matches my bathroom cabinetry perfectly.

Very nice. Seems sturdy. Doesn't take up too much room. I have a 6 foot tube. Helps to get in and out.

It was nicely constructed, but was very stable as a step. I returned it. The company was very helpful with return.
