PyrexGlass Mixing Bowl Set (3-Piece Set, Nesting, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe)

Before I bought these Pyrex bowls, I was mixing everything unevenly in a plastic bowl gotten from Dollar Tree. Then I saw these Pyrex glass bowls and it bought back memories of my mom teaching me to mix cookie dough in her Pyrex bowls. Oh I couldn’t resist getting my own set. When they came, I noticed that stacked together they’re heavy. Single wise, not heavy. Automatically I started mixing my usual recipe of Jello Salad in the 2.5 bowl. I did what I’ve always done and then lifted the bowl and looked underneath. Seeing what was happening to one certain ingredient had been very helpful. Then the next recipe was tuna salad. I was able to use one of the smaller bowls and made no mistakes. The clean up was better, for I could use less dish soap. After washing, I couldn’t smell any trace of tuna in the Pyrex bowls, unlike the plastic bowl. So I pitch out the plastic bowl and wondered why didn’t I buy Pyrex sooner.

Overall its okay. They are good cheap bowls

A bit shallow to use as mixing bowls-if using with a hand mixer, your kitchen will be a spattered mess. However they are very sturdy and easy to clean.

I received this 3 set of bowls as a bridal gift in the 1970's & have used them almost daily formixing, salads, popcorn, etc. Then I accidently broke 2 of them & was sooo happy that theyare still being made & available on Amazon. I immediately ordered the set that day. Thank you!

I have always loved Pyrex. When I make peasant bread, I wanted a 1 quart and a 1/2 quart bowl, so I sent for these. It was a great buy and I am tickled pink that I could find them.

Very sturdy bowls in just the right sizes.

Gave to our daughter at her request for glass mixing bowls.
