It didn't smell like La Mer is supposed to smell
I have used Creme de la Mer since the 90's when you had to wait months for a very limited shipment to arrive at upscale stores...and be on a waiting list.. This is NOT the same as the original La Mer. Totally different consistency. It didn't smell like La Mer is supposed to smell..and this La Mer made my skin breakout. I was told that at a cosmetic's counter that Estee Lauder bought out Creme de la Mer...so, if true, being mass produced may have had some effect.

It was a very cute way to try out the product, didn't work for me.. But I'm a sucker for presentation, and that it did have

I love it
Great value for the price. Great for a first timer. It includes the samples of major essentials of LA MER line, and will last about two weeks. Eye cream would last much longer. I did not care much for the hand cream thou, I noticed no difference on my hands.
