Greenbest Expandable Garden Hose, Aviation Aluminum Alloy Nozzle (Blue, 100-foot)

The internal part of this hose is quite small, so the volume of water that comes out is not terrific. I used it without the nozzle, because I wanted to assess the amount of the flow. When I turn it up, to get more volume of water, it became a sharp stream of water that created a large furrow in my planting beds. I suppose I could turn up the water pressure and use the nozzle, but I do not want to use the nozzle, I am afraid it will explode. I don't always want a spray. At 7,000 ft altitude if the plants are wet at all when the sun hits them, they burn. For morning watering I want to soak the soil, without a sharp stream of water exposing roots. I have used it once, and I fully expect it to fail sooner or later. Not even sure I will be using it on a regular basis.....we'll see!UPDATE: This hose is not made well at all. This evening, the "brass" that covered the cheap attachment of the fabric and internal hose to the attachment to what screws into the hose bib, came off. it had been disguising a small leak. I wanted to rinse off some plants that had been covered in construction dust, so I decided to try the nozzle for the first time, for a gentle rinse. The cheapo nozzle attachment, although screwed on tightly leaked massive amounts of water. This is a truly stinky product. The only good thing about it, is that it is light to haul around the yard, and since I have chronic joint pain, I was hoping that using this hose would be a sort of assistive device for me. Thus, not having to recover for 2 days after doing some watering. A lot of water was wasted by ending up in areas not intended to be watered, including my shoes, sock. I ended up standing in mud from the 2 leaks(so far). Needless to say, the time it took to deal with the mud, etc..I ending up having to launder my shoes(not easy) which addedmore time and more water wasted. Not going to bother doing another update when it explodes. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

I purchased one of these hoses last year use it for the whole season spring and summer put it away for the winter when I went to use it again it blew out. For me I feel the convenience of this hose is worth purchasing again. If you're looking for a hose to last you forever this is this isn't it. If you're looking for a hose that is very convenient and reasonably priced at 19.99 this is the hose. One tip for you to get the hose to last longer don't Open your valve all the way up to full pressure just open the valve to get the hose to swell out completely. never leave on when not in use. I also have one of their upgraded models for this year. So far, so good. When I received this I was skeptical it was 100 feet. Lo & behold, once the water pressure expands it, the length is just fine. I'm loving the lightweight, non-kink versatility of this hose. I sure hope it holds up. I saw other reviews which weren't so great. I've used this pretty regularly now for a month or so and it's holding up just fine - early to tell. Our son and daughter-in-law have one (which is why I bought this) that has been in use all summer and is still like new.Update: June 16, 2016. I noticed a couple of months ago that our son's hose had begun leaking at the spray end due to a disconnect of the tubing from the metal fitting. They had had it about a year. Kaput. Now mine, purchased in September of 2015, just also began leaking at the spray end. I kept it going as I was watering the gardens and although it was leaking through the metal (an obvious start to a tube disconnect), I had hopes I might be able to effect a repair somehow. Not to happen - within 10 minutes, the tubing totally disconnected and shrunk into the fabric - kaput. I will contact Greenbest to see about a replacement as I have had it for less than a year - and used it for less than a total of 3 months (September, 2015 and May to the middle of June this year) when you consider all winter it went without use. Stay tuned.

More like GreenWORST. Don't waste your money on this like I did. I LOVED this product at first. I purchased two of them. As long as it works, it is GREAT but it is not made to last. One hose broke after one usage. The other broke after about six or seven usages. They both broke the same way. The hose tears inside the cloth cover where it attaches to the water source. I was always very careful with it so I would not stress it and I never left the water on which would put pressure on the hose. It is apparently so flimsily made at the connection that it comes loose or tears under very light usage. If this were made to last, it would be a fantastic product. Didn't they even test these? As you can see in the photo, the water just runs out of the top around the outside of the hose and it will not expand any longer. Both hoses broke in this same way. $60 into the trash. Should have paid better attention to the other reviews.

It worked for one summer, and then it started to leak. I loved that it was lightweight, but you have to be careful how you hold it or how it's positioned when you turn off the water and drain it, because it shrinks quickly. I am disappointed that it only lasted one season.
