I Can Now Lie on my dating profile. I'm now 5'10!
They fit every well and adds some height. Don't drive in them though, take them off then put em back on once you reach your destination. Other than that I really enjoy them as an alternative to my normal sandals. Geta you a pair!

It broke a day after I ordered it.
The wood had no sort of varnish on it so it chipped at any careless misstep, there is no means to remove the golden cover so I can't retie the thong on the geta, and it literally broke after a single day's use. Not even twenty-four hours had passed before they broke. This is trash, no care went into making it. I know this because just from my time making wooden tools, shelving, and etc I could see it was just a thin layer of rubber, three pieces of spray painted wood, and multiple threads. It wasn't too great a loss but to help emphasize my point, look at the image they provide to show the customers. The underside's golden cover looks nothing like that what we see there. The only trait it has in common is the colour. The description says that they are meant for daily wear and that they are made from a good quality material which seems to not be the case since I broke it in only my third use.

PROS and CONS
PROSMade very well...albeit just received them so have no longevity historyDon't expect to wear them every dayDifferent and FUN lookingToo old to care if people stare at me, since I'm not AsianPerfect for a kimono look like Angel wears on 'Escape to the Chateau' (on Peacock for free)Great exercise for feet/ankles, once you get used to themLike wearing 'heels' but for a casual lookTotally inspired by the series I saw on PeacockCONSHad to air them out, probably due to the treated woodsame for the socks, Had to wash them in soap and baking soda to eliminate a 'chemical' smellI wear a true 8, ordered 8-9 and heel came just to the end of the sandalThought there would be more room

Going to teach yourself to walk again.
Nice good build. Practice walking in them it you want to use the for a cosplay/ event. The first few step you take are pretty funny.

REAL Geta Sandles, NOT FLIP FLOPS
I wear these almost everyday and absolutely love them. Workdays they're for walking the dog, weekends are all day sandles. Rubber bottoms wear out as expected but can be completely removed and walk on the wood or can add rubber. Straps are TIGHT but only at first. They are hemp road with a velvet cover and it has a perfect amount of stretch from just wearing that allows them to fit snuggly on your feet. Toe "thong" is in the middle, where it's supposed to be on these shoes, thus your pinky toe does hug the side. I am a 10.5 male US shoe size and these fit perfectly. Straps can also be readjusted if they become to loose and completely replaced for a different look. It's like walking on hardwood floor everywhere. The height of them keeps dry feet in small puddles and damp grass. I literally cannot say enough things about these. When these finally wear out I may attempt to make a pair from scratch.

Broke in a month and two days
The screws and the strings came out on the bottom. Can’t get refund because they broke two days after the 30 day mark period.

Perfect
My boyfriend really wanted a pair of these. So searched and I found some that didn’t look all that great. Some looked cheaply made. Not that good looking in general. But then I saw these. The looked like quality. And a simple design that is really nice to look at. Also they are super comfortable! My boyfriend loved them so much I gave them a try and let me tell you, they are indeed comfortable. Oh ALSO! THEY COME WITH SOCKS! The other ones I was looking at didn’t do that was kinda frustrating. But these do! Overall, the price was great. They got here very quick. And we are both very happy!
