Chuao Mini Chocolate Bar 0.39 Oz. - Pack of 10 (Firecracker)

I had high hopes for this order...which were quickly crushed when my package arrived yesterday. I don't particularly like/trust purchasing food online but I had purchased a few of these bars at my local health store, and I loved them! They are the perfect size and combination of silky chocolate and interesting filling plus the awesome popping. Said store was having an issue with stock and didn't know when they would next get them in so I turned to Amazon. Firstly, the order took 3 weeks to arrive which was OK as I wasn't desperate - I mean I like the chocolate but it's not like I can live without it - but when it was delivered yesterday in a squashed bubble-wrap envelope (which I assume was supposed to protect it), all the chocolate was broken and had obviously gone through some drastic changes in temperature. I didn't mind too much that it was broken but when I tasted it, it was disgusting. Totally stale and just gross. The ones I'd bought from a physical store were fresh and tasted delicious. These tasted bland and stale. Learnt my lesson about buying online.

I gave this candy to a 44-year-old friend as a gift... she loves the hint of spice from the chipotle and the lil popping candy bits make her smile and feel like a kid again. This has become her favorite candy :)

This is like nothing you have tasted before. It makes you question your sanity as you feel the pop rocks exploding and the chipotle spice-ploding, all covered with this salty chocolatey magic. "This can't be real," you think to yourself. It is, and now you will never be able to enjoy any other type of chocolate ever again.

I went on a date and told the guy that I like chocolate with salt or heat, and he showed up on the second date. I was thoroughly impressed. Pop Rocks are an added bonus. Shout out and special rewards to guys who listen when I talk ;-)

The package came packaged securely and clearly labeled to be refrigerated right away. The 50 calorie pieces are smaller than I thought they would be for the price...but it's a nice way to control my need for dark chocolate with pop rocks.

Came melted. Looked like it had melted and then been re refrigerated. Still my husbands favorite chocolate though.

A really fun and tasty treat. Dark chocolate with some heat and the fun of popping candy. I used these as stocking stuffers and also hoarded away a bunch for myself.

Good chocolate, but NOT worth the price!!
