5kg chunks or powder? You decide.
Pros:# Good value for money at 700rs for 5kg. 140rs per kilo.# It is the original Himalayan Pink salt. With chunks you can tell the quality.Cons:# Chunks. You have to powder it to use it. Powder is available from 225rs. Only thing is you have to go for good brands.# 5Kg. Each pack is for 1 kilo. Packet is of thin plastic. With the chunks inside, the plastic tears. Those that didn't tear had small holes formed by the salt piercing through the plastic. This causes your salt to absorb moisture. You want your salt dry. I had ordered 1kilo of black salt from the same supplier and that didn't have this problem. Either go for 1kilo pack or the supplier should cover individual packs with hard cardboard.# Packing. The box was filled with thermocol. Your room gets dirty and when the packets tear during delivery, some of the thermocol gets mixed with salt.Conclusion:If cost is a very important factor go for it, else either go for 1 kilo pack of chunks from this or any other supplier or go for powder from any good brand.
