This drum was ok
This is for my 9 year old grandson who is into listening to African music right now. As a first drum it is ok. I thought it was going to be made from wood (as in title) but it feels and looks more like hard plastic. It is fine for him to experiment with African music, but for someone more advanced, I don't think they would like it much. Size is perfect for him to hold. He likes it.
