Shorty Black Tobacco Pipe

I like the Eriksen by Nording pipes. And this is a variant on those pipes. The big ceramic bowl has a small chamber that should give you about a 10 minute, possibly 15 minute smoke. The best part is the filter chamber under the bowl. Simply pop off the bowl, fill with Nording Keystones or another filter material and you are good to go. A short smoke that is filtered so that what you get is drier, has less tar, and less nicotine.I use Denicool crystals instead of Keystones as I think the Denicools are a far superior filtering material. You could also use meerschaum granules. I don't think the Keystones are that effective.Great little pipe for when you'd like a smoke but don't have time for a leisurely bowl of tobacco.

Great smoking quality, but it’s really a small bowl. Don’t expect to settle in for a relaxing smoke session with this one. I love the porcelain bowl and look of it, but it really resembles the type of pipe one would use for smoking something other than tobacco. I feel a bit self-conscious smoking this one in public!

This pipe is perfect for a 10 to 15 minute smoke.The craftsmanship is great after all it’s a Nording.The pipe is very easy to clean and maintain because the bowl and stem are removable. I would recommend this to any pipe smoker looking for that perfect pipe for a quick smoke at break or lunch. I have two of these so far, planning on buying all six different colors.

Nording pipes are great pipes, even this Shorty and the Nording keystone Eriksen which are both a lot more affordable than most of the Nording Line. Also, this and the Keystone Eriksen are interchangeable, so I prefer attaching the bowl from the bigger one onto the stem of the Shorty. It enable me to have a pocket pipe but the choice to pack a longer lasting bowl.
