Great book
This is my era of biking, it brought back so many great and funny memories. The dialogue's nice and easy for anyone to read, yet puts this book above all others with no bias for any particular manufacturer. This gives a very good insight into each model but i would like to see more constructive criticism of the bikes, but what can Rod say? None went round corners or stopped! lol. never known Rod Ker to come up with anything bad.Very impressed and glad i bought it!

Great read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book - even the chapters on Kawasakis, Yamahas and Suzukis (being a Honda fan). A very well balanced book, not too technical but enough to satisfy, Rod writes with great style and a dry sense of humour. A really enjoyable read for anyone with an interest in the development of Japanese motorcycles and the classics that emerged in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Nicely produced with great photos.

70s and 80s Jap bikes
Absolutely brilliant book, if you like 70s and 80s Jap bikes even just looking at the pictures is a memory jogger, but well worth reading from cover to cover as well

Excellent
This is a second hand book but easily as good as a new one, and lives up to expectations regarding content, all the bikes I expected and more are featured

Not quite enough covered
Had hoped it might give some valuations. Also it didnt mention the bikes I own a CBX750FE (which was in fact included in one sentence)and Yamaha FZR600 (which apparently didnt exist).

the missing classic bikes
The book appears to be missing many interesting bikes from the 80's, such asintruder series, Eliminator, and vt shadow, v-max, etc.I think that the custom bikes does not seem to included the so-called classic bikes in this book. The photos in the book are very good, but there is very little technical information of the bikes.
