Comfortable addition to backpacking sleep system
I decided to buy this at the last minute before my first backpacking adventure in June, where temps in the redwoods were around 45-50 at night. I had read about the benefits of a sleeping sheet - keeps your sleeping bag clean longer, and added comfort. I haven’t tried other brands but this one is perfect for my needs. It’s a little odd at first to get into since it’s just open on one side, and it was paired with the Nemo Forte 20 degree (not quite as mummy as others but still a cocoon). It worked well in combination with the bag and was super helpful to have a light but comfy layer when I got too hot in the night. Unzipped the bag but still felt protected and warm enough. I love the fabric - soft and stretchy lightweight jersey that doesn’t fight when you are rolling around (which I do a lot). My next trip will be late summer and presumably a lot warmer, so I’m taking this with a down blanket vs sleeping bag.

Cool and comfortable!
Bought this to use for a retreat where we were going to be sleeping in cabins with bunk beds. The linen and bed sheets were supplied by the cabin but I brought the sleeping bag liner with the Insectshield just in case. I found out later that Permethrin does not provide protection against bed bugs. Oh well, at least the sleeping bag liner still protects against fleas and ticks. Luckily I didn’t need to test out if the Insectshield really works or not as there were no bugs in the cabin or the bunk beds. The Coolmax fabric is nice if the temperature is not too low and if you start to get stuffy & begin to sweat while sleeping. The Coolmax fabric will help to let your body breath through the fabric and keep you from getting hotter. During the night at the retreat while sleeping in the cabin, my feet started to get hot and sweaty from sleeping underneath a couple of bed sheets with me inside the liner. Once I removed the bed sheets and slept just only inside the liner my feet started to cool down pretty quickly. I would not recommend this particular liner for any cold weather activities, the Reactor series are geared more for cold weather. But this Coolmax fabric does help keep you cooled down and be advised, like the other reviews say, the fabric is very thin and sheer so your body can be seen through the fabric if your skin is brushed right up against the fabric.

No Entanglements
Used this in Refugio’s in the Dolomites of Italy. It kept my temperature just right as I NEVER had to wish to throw my legs out after overheating. Even temps! Another benefit was no entanglements from changing positions of gummy, side and back sleeping. Small pouch for carrying tightly in your backpack. Highly recommend!

I have not used this product
The sleeping bag liner arrived new and as advertised. I've used Sea to Summit's thermal bag liner and absolutely love it so i'm assuming this will be the same. The material is very soft and comfortable and on top of that if you spend money a good sleeping bags, these liners (in my opinion) do help preserve them and keep them cleaner when you've hiked around to get to your campsite.

Compact, soft
The longevity of the bug repellent doesn't match the price, but overall it's a nice sleep sack for hot camping trips in the jungle or desert. Used it on a coolish night of about 40 degrees, and it helped marginally when added to my 45 degree bag, but was more comfortable than anything. It's a nice addition if a tiny amount of weight isn't going to be the last straw, and you like the feeling of a soft sheet at night.

A sheet for my air mattress
I have a Neoair xlite large sleeping mat. I hate the noise it makes when it rubs against my tent at night. There are two sounds these mattresses are notorious for: the crunchy chip bag, and the balloon maker. The crunchy chip bag isn’t that bad, but the sound of a clown making balloon animals all night is the nail in my coffin. I’ve been trying to find something over the years, and THIS is the most promising of products. The large matress fits completely inside this bag liner and cinches almost completely closed, covering the entire mattress with a soft, cottony texture that feels more like a bed sheet and removes the obnoxious noise of balloons rubbing against each other all night. So, this review doesn’t cover the actual use of the product the way it’s Intended, but if anyone out there has been tirelessly looking for the answer to this conundrum, this might be it!

bought as a gift, was impressed bought my own
In order to get my gf to camp with me I had to address her two biggest complaints: bugs and getting too hot. This solved both and I tried it out one night on my own its great to have a liner of any kind just to extend the life of your sleeping bag, and the insect shield is a well known brand but not sure how many washes the repellant is good for so I wash as seldom as I can to extend the life. I'm 6'1 and the mummy felt too constricting so I got the traveller and they really look/feel the same when packed in the stuff sack

Great for small people
I loved: The softness and the insect-repelling feature.I did not love: How tight this was. I am a plus-size girl, and I felt like I could barely move in this thing. It wasn’t comfortable.Added the perfect amount of warmth, and I liked that I didn’t feel too hot as the morning warmed up.Sea to Summit should make more sizes in these liners. Big people like to camp and do outdoor things too. 👍🏻
