Fairly quiet aftermarket exhaust.
My purchase arrived ahead of schedule and nicely packaged to protect the exhaust from shipping damage. Came with all needed parts(nuts, bolts, copper gasket) and joint sealer for the tailpipe connection seal. Assembly went smoothly with the mounting points all lining up within tolerances. I mention that point because the KYN exhaust system from China, I tried to install two weeks previously did not line up with the mounting point of the center DR-650 mounting hole. $78.00 postage to send it back to China which thankfully Amazon refunded to my account. My only complaint about this exhaust (from a retired nuclear pipe welder) is the first welded joint coming out of the head was not very smooth as though the alignment was off a bit when it was welded. The weld was ground smooth to blend in but it was on the lumpy side with a slight misalignment. The chrome plating help disguise the minor flaw, and it won't affect the performance, just a nit pick from a retired welder. After the install, I fired up the bike and it was slightly louder the the stock system with a deeper throaty sound which is what I wanted. No obnoxious noise that will annoy the neighbors. For the price point this is a nice looking and sounding exhaust system with the one small alignment flaw in first pipe bend weld connection. I Recommend this product.
