Bought these for my friend who had just moved house and needed lights for the front and back door. Her house is a Victorian terraced house with stairs to the front door akin to climbing the north face of the eiger. Having no light was so dangerous for my pregnant friend and she is very impressed with these.I already have one of these and it's working perfectly after 4 months of crap British weather. These are extremely bright and you have several settings to adjust the lights to how you want them to operate.

Originally bought there solar lights to light up the path to my garage as this was previously too dark and in an awkward position to hard wire lights. These solar lights are perfect, as they can just be screwed to the wall with no cable necessary. The lights have 3 modes, so you can have them off completely until motion is detected or on completely irrespective of whether motion is detected or have them on permanently but go brighter if motion is detected.The battery on these easily lasts well into the night, so there's no worries of them stopping working late at night when needed the most.Will likely be getting more of these to cover all areas of my garden and paths - they are just so bright! Definitely recommend.

When I ordered these, I was unsure whether they would be any good - I was pleasantly surprised. I installed them at fairly low level to help me see the edge of my driveway when reversing my car onto the drive. The lights are very sensitive and illuminate whilst I am still on the road about 8 metres away. The bright white light is just what I need and has been a huge help when it is dark. They have been installed for nearly 2 months and maintain a good charge through the solar panel. Overall I think they are very good value for money.Updated review - Christmas 2019 Lights now 6 months oldLike many other reviewers, I find that one of the lights has stopped working. Having removed the back of the casing I find that the rechargeable battery is soldered in and not practical to change and cannot tell if the problem is with the battery or the solar panel. Again like others, I have tried to contact the supplier using the contact details provided when new but the suppler either ignores my message or maybe the contact no longer exists.So buyer beware - good products while they last but it's just a question of how long they will last.

These lights keep my garden perfectly lit. Installation is a piece of cake cure to the included kit. When it gets dark outside the solar power which has charged the light will illuminate the garden with extra brightness coming from detected movement. This was a lot better for us than some lights which will only illuminate when it detects movement. Battery life is also fantastic with us noticing that this light stays illuminated most of the night. Excellent quality and one happy customer.

Pleased to receive 2 lights in the box. They feel likes they’ll last years and the light is extremely bright – don’t look directly at them! Easy to install and illuminates at least half of my back garden. Just the one light it sufficient. I used the other one for the front of the house. Being LED, they should last many years without requiring replacement. I’ll be purchasing some more for my other properties. Very happy with the purchase, especially considering these cost many times more on the high street.

I've wasted so much money on solar lights over the past few years....well finally I found some lights that are worth every penny! These little lights are super bright, look smart and I particularly like the dim mode as I use these along a path to the back garden so they give some ambient light until you approach and then the main light comes on. They have worked even when sunlight has been on the lower side. The motion sensor is also really good. You can go wrong with these!Well dropped my review. A year later and one stopped working and the other has got a fair few dead led cells. I think all solor lights are the same. Going down the hard wire route.

Great lights, very pleased with them.Appear to be very durable in quality and construction; they have been well made. Nothing shoddy about them!Easy to fit, easy to change options from on/off/motion detect. They have a 'sentinel' look, so look superb fixed on our garden gate posts.Motion detection range appears to be very good and the right level of sensitivity; although this depends on where you mount them, obviously.The solar panels are working well, even in March. We set them up for constant lighting from dusk and they lasted a few hours. Decided we prefer them on motion detect, as an additional security measure around our gate. I'm pretty sure that even in winter that will allow there to be enough stored energy in the batteries to allow them to work as required without them running out of energy.Also, they're nice and bright without being blinding. The LEDs all working well and guaranteeing longevity of lighting.

These lights are super handy. They are easy to install, just two screws. The battery charges up well in the sunlight. There are three modes, motion detection, hi-lo and always on dim. They are really bright and the battery easily lasts long enough even with frequent use through a might - don't forget it recharges every day by itself! I would have liked the switch to be a little more discreet so they can't be easily turned off, but if you mount them high enough that's not an issue. Overall good lights.
