This is brilliant, the picture is nice and clear and having a video recording function is an added asset. Did I forget to mention the Night Vision which also is very good. More a novelty than a requirement. No worded instructions but from the instructions that are provided, it's pretty straightforward.

Ok. A bit cheap feeling but functions as it should
Does what it’s supposed to - but feels a bit cheap - and it isn’t! Would expect a bit more of a premium feel for the price but it does function as expected. Not thoroughly road tested since only just fitted but so far so good. An ok purchase.

This is a fantastic product, especially the night vision is very good. The ability to record has stopped troublesome kids of neighbours from ringing the the door bell and running off.

A bit disappointed.
Yale have over egged the sophistication of the 5000/1435/00/50/11 Digital Door Viewer. For me it struggles to be value for money - I paid just over £100.I like that it's not reliant on wifi / phone app (the reason I bought it) but the manufacturers have not come close to meeting a quality that these other devices give.The functions I found difficult to follow and the schematic instructions very small and also not easy to follow.I have yet to work out how to review the camera recorded to the SD card.The camera quality is poor in my view which is disappointing. I expected closer to the quality of mobile phone camera but it falls well short.It's not good value for the money but I'm not sending it back as it does the job.
