A little disclaimer. This book is different from the show. The show does not follow the book completely. Sadly the book is quite whiny at some points but the thing I like about it is that it is very real. Rae is very much the same. The ol' Raymondo we all know and love. I do suggest getting this book and really enjoying. It is worth it.

My teenage daughter is hooked on this series from Great Britain. We watched the entire series in a week. Saw that there was an actual book and had to buy it for her. She just finished it today and she just loved it! Good thing I also ordered book #2 the sequel at the same time. Lol. We received this sooner than anticipated also.

I got this book because I watched the TV show (which is brilliant by the way). It is definitely different than the show, but just as good. Rae is hilarious, and as a mad, fat woman myself I related to her in so many ways. I highly recommend this to everyone who liked the show, and to all my fellow mad, fat girls!

MM I EXPECT MORE! the serie is better

Read it in one day...could not put it down. TV show incredibly written as well. You can see how remarkable the mirror each other even if they are a bit different. RECOMMEND HIGHLY! Back for Volume II.

Little hard to get into and understand her sometimes, but so entertaining and funny once you start to think the same way she does. Love, and will be ordering the second book soon!

an honest portrait of what is like to be a teenager and a very refreshing angle when you have a main character that is not tall, blonde and beautiful.

il libro è interessante , da cui è stata tratta anche una bella serie, da leggere per chi ama questo tipi di temi!

It arrived fast and in perfect conditions, the story is gripping I read it super fast! different characters than in the series but i liked it.

Es ist ein fantastisches Buch. Die Art wie Rae Earl uns an ihrem Leben teilhaben lässt ist einzigartig. Ich empfehle es auf jeden fall weiter.

C'est la série qui m'a donné envie de lire le livre. La série est trèèès librement inspirée du livre donc on ne retrouve pas tout à fait les mêmes personnages de la même façon, mais je trouve que l'esprit est un peu le même. Un journal que j'aurais pu écrire (et pour certains passages, je l'ai fait).A noter que non seulement le livre est en anglais mais en plus, il n'y a pas mal d'argot (j'ai eu besoin d'un dictionnaire d'argot anglais parfois).J'ai même commencé le 2ème tome... to be continued....
