Light weight, looks great, large and shallow, works well with solar fountain ,and birds love it

*REVISED 5/29/2020- RATING UPGRADED TO 5 STARS DUE TO SELLERS RESPONSE TO MY MISSING PIECE:*I contacted the seller directly regarding the missing parts on the bird. They responded stating the bird has a screw attachment. I provided them with a photo showing mine didn't. They have since come back and while they don't have any birds in stock (booo!) they did offer to take it back or give me a refund as compensation. Since I like the birdbath (and don't want to go through the hassle to return it) I chose the refund. I would do business with this retailer again based on their prompt and kind response.This is a nice birdbath. It was easy to put together, it's light weight and holds a lot of water.I bought it because I thought the bird was cute and a nice touch. As you can see by my pictures it's missing the pieces to actually attach it to the basin. If I had those this would be a 5-star review.

Arrived as promised and with all parts.It was hard to screw together because the plastic was rough. However, after I sprayed the parts with WD 40 it was easy to screw it together.I tried to add water to add weight, but it leaked out. I then used small stones that are used for drainage for potted plants. Those worked great and I did not need too many. I think sand also have worked.Once completed it works great. The birds, squirrels, and chipmunk all use it.It is light and easy to clean.

The first bird bath arrived missing the base connection part. The same day I notified the company, naming the item’s letter identifier. Two days after, the company asked me which part. I repeated my request. Three weeks later I received an entire new birdbath. So the old one went into a landfill.These are made of lightweight plastic that are easy to screw together and move around. The bowl is a little deep for small wild birds - it’s best not to completely fill it and place a couple of rocks in the water to give a perch AND add weight so it doesn’t tip over (the provided lawn stakes are too short to hold it up). You can also fill the hollow stem with sand or gravel which fails to help the base at all. There is a pretty surround on the bowl with cut outs that give a perch for medium birds, such as doves.It is pretty and, from a distance, resembles weather metal. It is easy to clean, just spray it out. The little decorative bird did not screw on straight, but even leaning it looks okay.

more than adequate for my needs. Inexpensive, good stability. Keep it away from the chipmunks/squirrels... I dare you! Its right outside a kitchen window so we have Avian Netflix for our cat who watches harboring murderous thoughts and makes weird gluttony noises. The feeder has brought a least a dozen new and colorful birds into our visual range and their presence fills my quieter times with beauty and delight. I'm considering one more for the other side of our house.

I would suggest getting heavier duty garden stakes to keep the bath from tipping. The stakes that are included don't do much to keep it stable if it is windy. It is a pretty bath and it is deep enough to hold a solar fountain but it is very light.

The media could not be loaded.  It came with all the parts. Easily assembled. It feels pretty stable, but I used the tie down rods and added some rocks to the tube for more weight. So far the birds love it! I had to remove the faux bird as it seems to deter more than it attracts. My cats love the constant streams of bird visitors who now seem to enjoy their own private bath. I'd recommend this!

Love the look of this birdbath and would give it a solid five stars if it were a little heavier. Seems like a strong wind would blow it over...and I have put small stones in the "stem" to give it more stability. The look in my garden is just what I wanted and the birds seem to like it. For the money, it is great.
