Crisp and clear with Bass to spare
I was worried about the mounting. Don't be. Simple solution is to run the wire beside the speaker and not worry about running it through the hanger.Sound is very good, more than expected. Have my Yamaha RX-V371 system set to crossover at 60htz and the speakers handle it fine. I junked the sub and stuck with the Yamaha.Update1: had time to fully adjust the system. Put the Harman Kardon sub in the corner behind the tv, wow full room filling sound when bounced off the wall. Very happy with this speaker set.No issues with the sub, has more than enough power to shake the entire house. Used low freq. Cable.(spend some time to find the best location used the crawl technique.)You need a high quality receiver to get the most from this system, after spending time and fully adjusting ALL speaker settings this is an incredible sounding speaker package.Update 2: I was so happy with the speakers, I figured it was a good time to upgrade the avr as well. I decided on the Harman Kardon 1610. Superb envelope of sound.

Incredible Value for the price
In researching different options for a surround sound, around this price point, I found the HK set to be the most promising. I use a Sony 7.1 receiver to power the speakers. After an easy set-up and small calibration on the receiver the speakers sound absolutely amazing. My dogs also knocked one of the speakers off the counter a couple times and it still sounds amazing. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone that is looking for amazing sound, great bass and a reasonable price point.

Major step up in sound from the built Smart TV speakers
I got this Harman Kardon HKTS 16BQ speaker system as an upgrade from the built-in speakers on the Samsung Smart TV. I hooked it up to a Yamaha AVR and they took our TV watching experience to another level. The system doesn't feel under-powered and the moreover the speakers look great next to our slim smart TV.--- CONS ---If anyone is looking to get this set up for gaming or music playing with heavy bass, recommend getting a 3rd-party powered subwoofer because although the Harmon Kardon satellite speakers hit the mids & highs really well, the subwoofer could use more power in order to properly hit those lower frequencies.Due to the design of the satellite speakers, most universal floor standing mounts will not be compatible with this system. And to make matters worse, the Harmon Kardon floor stands that are compatible with them can't be found in the US. Hence, I chose to go with a 3rd party stand and improvise.-- Other thoughts --I noticed several other reviewers complained about the subwoofer not turning on automatically. I have tested it myself & the sub turns on fine when the Yamaha receiver receives power & it goes off after 15 mins if it detects no power from the AV unit.-- TLDR --Overall, I am happy with the system as its performance is miles above the built speakers that came with out Smart TV.

Quality High Fidelity 5.1 Surround Speakers from Harmon Kardon!
High Fidelity 5.1 Surround Speakers from a quality focused company with excellent customer service & support! Received item in timely manner, using in conjunction with Denon avr-s950h receiver. Sound is superb. During setup I noticed one of the satellite speakers had something loose internally. Reported issue to Amazon to determine if a return/repair was possible, counter offered a credit/discount to keep which was acceptable. I then contacting HK support, they shipped a replacement speaker after a confirmation of purchase.

Awesome!
Got this system after hearing the HK-Go at my job. I always thought Bose was #1, but this is a very close second if not just as good. The sound quality is great, but what I really love about this is the power of the sub. I keep it a quarter up (also has a base boost) and it’s more then enough. When you turn it up all the way, the whole house can hear the system. Really good for the money

Poor Subwoofer Quality - Performance Issue. Never recommending this.
I was really disappointed in the subwoofer that came with this home theatre system and the customer support given to me when I called Harman Kardon. (Also, please research for more forums about the subwoofer issue on Harman Kardon. This is actually very common for their subwoofer).Subwoofer Issue:1. The subwoofer audio suddenly turns off even at regular volume level (not even at 50% of volume dial of the subwoofer and the LED power indicator is ON) - I don't know why. I check the SUB output from my receiver and it has audio signal signal coming out (Using my regular bookshelf amplifier/speaker combo). Intermittent functional issue, one of my solution is to turn off manually the power switch of the Subwoofer, let it stand for 10 seconds and turn it on again - which is very annoying. Take note that this is with Power mode set to ON.2. I can hear random clicking noise, hums, and distortion with receiver turned off or even when i remove the RCA from the subwoofer's input.3. Trigger input has functionality issue as well. My receiver (VSX-70 by Pioneer) has 12V trigger and i used it to trigger the subwoofer power however it is encountering the same issue i stated on item 1. Note here that the white LED power indicator is lit up. I have not encountered this on my old subwoofer.Customer Service:I called the customer service but it seems the representative (native language is obviously not English) lacks understanding on the speaker system itself. I enumerated to her the scenarios and verifications I used to make sure it is not the connection. It is supposed to be easy as connect the power to 120V mains, connect the RCA cable from SUB output of the receiver to input of the SUBWOOFER, turn it on and it is should work consistently. I told her that the issue is not wiring (as she insist it is) for I isolated that case already. At the end all she told me is to contact the store. In my mind is what can the dealer help me in troubleshooting the issue? It's likely telling me not to argue anymore and just return the item. That is what i am doing after this. Good thing I have encountered this early.P.S. I am an electronic enthusiast and i am knowledgeable on setting up large sound systems, DJ system, PA systems, home theatre system, etc.
