Republic Bike Kids Cargo Bike

The bike was scratched and the paint was coming off in some areas when it arrived. It looked as if the front had hit something. I was willing to overlook that. I am not willing to overlook the missing parts, the poor construction or the overall quality.The instructions are bare bones and look as if they were done on a home printer running out of ink. I had to refer to online photos to get an idea of what needed to be put where. Some of the holes did not line up. Not a little off, but so far off they should have been on another bike. Be prepared to drill. Some of the parts were missing, so I had to go to the store and find some that would fit. One of the front fenders was bent, so the tire would not move at all. I have to fix that. I am going to make this work. My kid will not give me any peace until I do.The seller was friendly about a return and responded to emails quickly. It is too much of a hassle to return once it is out of the box and partially assembled. They are out of the color, Apple I ordered, so they would not be able to replace it. I don't know why this review has me verified as purchasing the color "Putty".This bike should have never made it through quality control.

Looks like the picture If (big if) your pieces fit together. BUT they don't.Look, I have bought a lot of cheap bikes and fancy myself a kind of cheap bike connoisseur. I REALLY hoped this one would work out for my kids. With cheap online bikes, About half pull through for you.... and half are garbage out of the box. Unfortunately, this is in the latter catagory.You obviously want to love this bike because it is so slick and unique looking, but sadly it is not worth the money unless they are asking under $200 in my opinion. The pieces are just too cheap to justify this outrageous $500+ price tag.Trust me, however much you are trying to convince yourself that is ok and you wont get the defective one and its such a great bike it's worth the money. STOP. Its not. You will be upset if you buy this bike at this ridiculously inflated price. Wallmart has better quality. I know, because my kids wont touch this bike because they say it rides "wobbly" while their new wallmart bikes are getting lots of use.
