Swingline GBC Shredder Bags, Recylable Paper, 21 Gallon, For 500X/500M, 5/Pack (1765030)

They were difficult to bend to make fit into the shredder. Seemed to be a bigger pain then just using the plastic bags. Can we recycled with the shred in these bags, but only if you don't have any DVDs/CDs shredded into the pile. I was hoping they would be a bit thicker or stronger and was hoping for something to make less mess. I think shredders are just messy things and no matter what kind you buy, just find the best bags that work for you.

If you get a Swingline shredder, get Swingline bags at the same time. I have learned to leave the ties in the bottom of the drawer, to cut the top off the bag box. These bags do not tear nearly as much as the bags the janitors use in the building (although I am grateful that they provide free bags whenever they see that the 300M is getting full). The hardware store will not have any bags that are as long as these. Note that they seem to be made for a very tall machine, so I never get close to filling them with the 300M.

These bags are perfect for recycling shredded paper. They hold a lot.

These bags don't fit as well as I would have liked them to. They do the trick but the flaps get in the way and they cause the bag to close slightly. They're also very thin so they tear easily. I had to use a piece of tape to keep the bag open inside my high end cross-cut paper shredder.

These are OK, but they are pretty flimsy. I would prefer a stronger bag.
